Get Back Up (Starkid of course!)

The next day wasn't too bad.I ignored Joe,and I helped people dance,and we did really good.Most people memorized their lines.Devin,Tyler,Walker (ugh),Me,Joey and Rosie had it all memorized.I think JoMo did too.
Basically half did.The other half,were working on it.
"So,what shall we do?"Joey asked.
"We should stage fight."I mumbled.

"What?"Walker asked.
"Okay,we can practice as a group now!"Nick said.We all went offstage,as If it were really happening.Darren grabbed his suitcase,and sat on it,centerstage.
"Underneath these stairs.."
"You know you can't ignore me forever,right?"Walker asked.
"I'm well aware of that.But i can ignore you for how ever long I want."I said.

He came in front of me,and kissed me.I kicked him,and Darren stopped singing.I tackled him onto the stage,and started punching him.
"Don't touch me!"I screamed.He grabbed my arms,and rolled me around.He was on top of me,and laughed.I placed my legs at his knees,and flipped him over me.
"Don't you dare touch me again."I snapped,before running out.

~Darren's P.O.V~
"So,walker?How does it feel to get your butt kicked by a girl?"I asked.
"Not so good."He answered,and got up.
"Just,continue."Nick said.Holden got up,and went after her.
"Gonna take my firebolt,gonna take to the sky!"I sang.

~Holden's P.O.V~
I found Kami at the nearest bench,outside.She had her head resting on her knees,her arms wrapped around herself.I felt bad..I sat down next to her.
"Go away."She sniffed.
"No.I just wanted to say I'm sorry,for the way I treated you."I said.
"Oh..Well,okay."She said.
"Would you wanna get ice cream later?"I asked.
"Is it a date?"She asked,scooting farther away.
"No.Just a take out."I said.
"I have to go to a party,tonight."She said.
"Oh..Well,tomorrow?"I asked.
"Sure..Um.Bye."She said,and ran away.I think she went back to the theatre,so I followed.Kami was already up on the stage,finishing one of her lines.

~Normal P.O.V~
The play went by smoothly,again.But best part?
"If I had an invisibility cloak,I would act like I was dead,and then scare people."Jaime laughed.
"If I had one,I would...Kick weiner dogs.."Darren said.
"What?"Matt asked.

"What's the line?"Darren asked.Darren was the only one who still had trouble with lines,after a week of really good practicing.
The school hadn't given us alot of time,to do this.
"I would be a hockey player."Nick said.(That's true!)
"Oh,yeah..So I would kick weiner dogs."Darren said.
"Just keep that.."Nick said.

Best part ever..Darren needs alot of help,with remembering lines.But other than that,we did it perfectly again.
"What about costumes?"Devin asked.
"I'm trying really hard,to order them,but I don't have alot of money."I said.
"We could buy them ourselves."Tyler said.
"That's fine."The group agreed.
"Try to do it today,so we can get them by next week.Tuesday,because we open on thursday.."I said.
"We open next thursday?"Rosie asked.
"Yeah."I said.
"They only gave us three weeks,to put this in action."Darren said.
"I don't think they liked us.But yeah,try to do that...Tomorrow,we'll work on making the props."I said.
"Wands?"Richard asked.
"Polished sticks from outside."AJ said.
"Doesn't cost a thing."Carlos,our guitarist said.
"Exactly.I will see you guys,tomorrow."I said,and slung my backpack over my shoulder.

I went to the first class..Math again.I ran up to the teacher.
"Can you move me to a different spot?Joe and I aren't hand in hand.."I said.
"I'm sorry dear,no."She said.
"Poo.Well,you gonna come see our play?"I asked.
"Yeah.This thursday,right?"She asked.
"Totally."I said.
"Awesome."She said.I laughed,because of the show,and skipped up to my spot.I scooted as far away from Stupid as much as possible.

But he just kept scooting closer to me.
I looked at Jim,behind me.He just shrugged,and smiled at me.
I finally just stopped,and started doing the problems she had given us.
"You can't say you didn't feel anything,because I know you did."He whispered,not looking at me.

"If I did?"I asked.
"Then we would move on with our lives."He said.I chuckled.
"Walker,i've known you for my whole life.Your not going to let me move on."I said.

"This time I will."He said.
"Sure.But I'm still not telling you if I did or not."I said.
"Mr.Walker!Come down here."Mrs.Sherrie said.I silently laughed,as he got up,and jogged down the stairs.
I leaned back,and streached.
"Joy,to the world."I sang to Jim.He laughed,and we both went back to doing the problems.

~After class,at the party~
Joey and Jim escorted me to the party.It was a small one in their dorm.Lauren,Jaime,JoMo,Nick,Matt,Brian,Rosie,Devin,Sango,Darren,Walker,Jim,Joey and I were all there.We were sitting on the couch,talking when Holden falls off of the couch,and Jaime sits on him,laughing.

"What?...."Lauren asked.
"He said I look like a squirrel."Jaime said,and sat back down.Rosie hugged her.
"Did you hear about that line in that song?The reprise of Different as can be?"I asked.
"What line?"Rosie asked.
"It's like..I'm as happy as a squirrel,long as I'm with Mr.Quirrel.."I sang.
"Oh,yeah!Aw..Thanks guys!"He said.

"Yeah.Can we spice this party up?"Joey asked.He pulled two speedo's out of his bag.They were really ugly..And colorful.
"Joe,would you do the honors?"He asked,and threw him one.They went into different bathrooms,and changed.
"This is gonna be horrible."I said.Jim laughed,and put his arm around the back of the chair.

"Does anyone know how to braid?"I asked,twirling my fingers in my long hair.
"I do."Jim said.We all looked at him.
"Seriously?"I asked.
"Yeah.Sit in front of me."He said.I did as I was told,and he did a french braid.
"Woah,Jim."Lauren said.
"I had a sister."He answered.

The boys had come out.Let's just say,I couldn't stop laughing.They looked horrible!They went into the bigger bathroom,with their beers,and sat in the bubble filled tub.Lauren took pictures,as we hung out in the bathroom.I sat on the edge,and put my legs in.
"Hey,Lauren,come here."I said.She ran over.
"Wanna do Punch shots?"I asked.

"Yeah!"I got out of the bathtub and we ran to the kitchen.I grabbed shot cups,and poured a little Sprite in them.Lauren put the Hawiian Punch in it,and we clinked glasses.We refilled,and went to the bathroom.I resumed my spot.
"Are you drinking?"Holden asked.
"Hawiian Punch and Sprite.Best combo ever."I said.
"Can i try?"He asked.
"Yeah."I said,and handed him my cup.
"That is pretty good.Want me to get a full cup for you?"He asked.
I kinda hesitated before nodding.As soon as he left,I pulled Matt and nick to me.

"What happen to him?He's suddenly nice to me."I said.
"I don't know!"Nick said.
"Your his best friend!"I protested.
"Maybe he likes you?"Devin asked.I froze.
"Ew.ew.Ew!Don't even joke about that!"I said.

"Ooo,Brian and Kami,kissy kissy."Rosie said.I grabbed him,and pushed him in the tub face first.
"Ow."He said,like a baby.Holden handed me my drink.
"Thanks."I said.
"No problem."He said,and sat next to me.I sent a look to Lauren,who laughed.

So..Walker likes me.That's an obvious one..And so does Holden..Nice.Jim smiled at me,and gave me that look,of 'I gotta talk to you later'.
I nodded,and looked at Joey."So..Joey.How's Mama Richter?"I asked.
"Good.She misses you."He said.
"I miss her too."I said."You've met his mom?"Lauren asked.
"We've friends since freshman year,here."I said.

"Ah.."Devin and Sango laughed to themselves.I glared at them.
"Watch it chang."I said.
"Ugh..Her-my-wan."She said.I laughed.
"Speaking of that,did you guys order your costumes?"I asked.
"Yeah."Joey said.Everyone else nodded.
"Hey,Jim get my phone,please.It's behind you."I said.He tossed it over to me,and I caught it just before it hit the water.

"You would've been dead,if it hit the water."I said.I went to send message,multiples,and texted everyone who wasn't at the party.

I threw my phone back to Jim,and he put it on the counter.
"How did Her-my-won end up to costumes?"Darren asked.
"I don't know.But,i did find one of Dylan.So,i didn't send that text to him."I said.

"What about me?"JoMo asked.
"I found a black cape,with a black wig.You get the button up t-shirt and the pants."I said.
"Shoes?"Jaime asked."I have yellow flats I could wear.And a red wig."She said.
"Awesome.Joey,you've got a wig too.And the blue sweatband."I said.
"Yep."Lauren said.It was silent for a moment.

"Sami.."Darren sang.
"No!"I said.
"What?"Walker asked.I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Don't sing that."I said.
"Why not?"walker asked.
"None of your buisness."I said.He stayed silent for a moment.
"It's because of your old boyfriend,isn't it?"He asked,smiling.
"Just leave her alone walker."Darren said.

"No!Your old boyfriend,used to sing that to you,with your name instead of Sami!The stupid one,Mark!"He said.
"He wasn't stupid."I said.
"Yes he was!He didn't know what 23 times 4 was!"Walker said.
"Because he had dyslexia!Sure he wasn't the smartest one of the bunch,but he was still a person!"I said.
"Yeah.So i can talk bad about him."He said,and continued telling the group bad things about it.

"You didn't know did you?"I whispered.
"Know what?"Walker asked.
"Last year.He was in traffic.And he got stopped on the railroad,just as a train was coming.He died,walker!He died,and I saw it!Mom was driving me home,and I was 3 cars in front of him!You have no idea,how it feels to see the love of your life,die right in front of your eyes!"I screamed,and got out of the tub.

"I didn't die."Walker said.
"Because I don't love you!Never did never will!Because of you stupid arrogant,ugly,mean self!Your a horrible person,and you know what?He was talking on the phone with you,when he died."I said.
"No he wasn't.."But then he fell silent.
"see!You do remember,and you just had to tell them,of how you were jealous of him,because he had me,and you didn't!"I screamed.I grabbed my phone,and ran out.

~Walker's P.O.V~
"Really,man?"Darren asked.
"You just had to go that far?"Lauren asked.
"Not cool."Nick said.They all left.It was just me,in the bathroom.I changed,and left too.They all went to their dorms,except Joey,Jim,Darren and Lauren.They knocked on her door.But she didn't answer.
"Kami..Open the door."Jim said.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow..Just please leave me alone."She sniffed.

"Okay..Well,my stuff is in there,so you kinda have to let me in."Lauren said.When did Lauren move in with her?She said,bye to Jim,Darren and Joey.She glared at me,before closing the door,behind her.I walked pass,and went into my room.Darren didn't say a word to me.
