READ THIS IF YOUR MOVING STORIES!!!
Chapter 1
This may help you
I've recently heard from a friend that all websites we write stories on own them. So you'd be better off copying you stories on Microsoft Word, like I suggested last time.
Even if you move your stories to Wattpad and all the other crap, they'll still own it.
Wattpad's terms of service states this:
Wattpad.com: "...However, by submitting User Submissions to Wattpad.com, you hereby grant Wattpad.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform the User Submissions in connection with the Wattpad.com Website and its affiliates. You also hereby waive any moral rights you may have in your User Submissions and grant each user of the Wattpad.com Website a non-exclusive license to access your User Submissions through the Website..."
You must remember if you agreed to their terms of service, you agree that they own your stories.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a quibblo rebel. That's why I copied my stories on Microsoft. But you miles well stay on Quibblo if other sites are like this!
I can get that passionate writer feel lots of anger torwards this. But if you do, then you shouldn't have been writing stories on here in the first place.
If you want to read a more detailed version go to: For everyone that is moving their stories to another website...I WOULD READ THIS!! By:
