The stars shone brightly on the cloudless, black sky. It was winter and the campers at Camp Halfblood were huddled in their cabins or out in the fields watching the fireworks go off. There was really no special occasion for the fireworks, but Chiron had thought it might be a good idea of the campers to have some fun tonight. It would be a late night filled with games, food, talking, dancing, and fireworks. The campers would have the next day off to catch up on sleep and rest up from the over exposer of junk food.
Anna Stone a daughter of Apollo stood in front of the stage with her best friend Emily May, a daughter of Demeter. Anna was getting ready to perform in front of the campers and was waiting for the showing up of Luke with her guitar. Luke Castellan was Anna's best friend and secret crush. Well, maybe it wasn't a secret as much as Anna thought it was. "Where in the world is he! I'm suppose to go on!" Anna said to Emily her face in a scowl, she hated to be late for a performance, Emily smiled at her and shoved her playfully "He's coming, see!" she pointed to the right just as Luke come into view. A few seconds later Luke had handed Anna her guitar a smile pasted on his face "Here and good luck." he said as he stood next to Emily. Anna nodded and ran up onto stage
"Hey ya'll! You ready for a song?" she called out to the crowd of eager kids. The kids cheered and clapped as Anna started to strum her guitar softly "This song is dedicated to a guy in my life who has helped me so much since I've been here. With training and listening to my constant complaining and song writing. And he also delivered my guitar to me tonight, so thank you." she looked at Luke as she spoke and than began to play the song
