My extended "About Me." READ IF YOU WANT TO BE MY FRIEND

Reads: 51 | Chapters: 1 |

I thought my current "About Me" needed a space of its own, since I didn't have quite enough room to put in everything I wanted to say.

Chapter 1

About Me Extended Version

I don't like any of the three monotheistic faiths. That is to say, I dislike the religions, but if you are a follower and are a good person, I don't have a problem with knowing you. One of the best people I know on Quibblo, ChickenIsAmazing (and the best commenter I have!! Thank you!!!) is Muslim. I don't have a problem with it, and more often than not, I'm curious rather than derogatory towards anyone of a faith I dislike. That said, I don't want to have people try to convert me. I've gotten that a lot, and I'm damn sick of it. I'm a Norse Heathen, and I'm happy with my life (Sorry PotionsMaster for not updating you in the last while about my religious life!! :S).

I'm tired of people saying they're always depressed and that people don't like them. There are ways to change that, you know. I know people in the world have bad lives, and there are people like that on Quibblo. But you can't ALL be having problems bad enough to make you want to commit suicide. It's like correcting spelling on a few people's stories, and every single one of them claiming dyslexia. Come on, guys. -_-

I like the Harry Potter books, I hate the movies (I like the first two, hate the third with a fiery passion, and the rest I get so annoyed with I don't want to watch XD). I like the Twilight movies, I hate the books. The books are flat dreadful, and the modifications they made in the movies were brilliant. But I still don't like Bella. And Edward.....well, let's not go there. :P

I despise Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan, though the movie wasn't bad as movies go. I hate the way he's portrayed Hellenion and Greek myths, as well as the Roman in his later books. I won't say much on the Egyptian series he's doing, since I haven't heard/read more than the first chapter or so in the first book, as I am afraid of what he's done to my other favourite myths. :S This also means that I don't like the whole "I'm a demigod!" thing going around, nor do I like the 'revolt against the Gods' thing that was popular a while back. It's disrespectful, and I will tell you so.

I am a Grammar Nazi, debater, religious know-it-all, redheaded Irish German American. XD

I'm learning Polish, German, and possibly Chinese in the near future, as I will need it for furthering my knowledge in my hopeful career. I would like to become a health consultant using alternative medicine/therapy and herb lore. I will be beginning lessons with a professional in the field in a few days. (:

I believe in magic and many mythical creatures and legends (just not Santa Claus or the tooth fairy, etc.). I don't have a stance on Aliens. I highly doubt that this is the only planet in all the universe with intelligent life on it, but honestly I don't much notice. I don't endorse or actively go against the existance of Alien life forms. (:

Men and Women are equal creatures (this is the biggest reason why I don't like the big three religious faiths in the world).

Veganism is wrong. Vegetarianism is wrong if you only do it because some animals are abused. Humans are made omnivores, and those people who try to rear children in a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle should be arrested for child neglect. Vegetarianism is alright if you are doing it because you cannot eat meats (physically, not because you have a moral stance on it). Veganism is not right in any form, especially the extreme versions that don't even allow the wearing of silk or leather. Picketing and using terror methods on restaurants and buildings that use/manufacture/serve animal products is wrong, and more people should be arrested and jailed for long-term because of it.

Animal rights are wrong. Animal welfare--your duty to your animals, to keep them well-fed, healthy, medicated when ill, to have injuries treated correctly, to keep them warm and dry, out of ill weather--should be something that everyone does. Animal rights--making animals equal with human beings--is wrong, and hopefully will never be something legal. We are above animals, we survive on animals, both for food, shelter, and means of survival, and it has always been this way. You don't like this, please hit the little red x next to my profile picture on your friends' list.

Today's American gov. is messed up. I'm a Constitutionalist--not to the left or the right. I believe the government should be as stated in the Constitution and the various amendments that goes with it. Nothing more, and nothing less. The Occupy movements are wrong; I don't want to hear about them, the people who run them are idiotic, lazy bums, and should get a life.

My top friend MissChristinaDeath is AWESOME! I want to meet her, face-to-face one day. I would like to have more friends, but unfortunately that is not the case. What few acquaintances I have are nice enough people, but more often than not I find that underneath their cheerful exterior they are nasty, bitter, ugly people who find nothing more exciting and fun than to be rude and arrogant. Most acquaintances I have I must leave behind as they prove themselves very deserving of at least a few rude words and phrases. -.-

I know this turned out to be more of a 'what I don't like, extended version,' but hey. This is who I am, and if you disagree so vehemently with any of these things mentioned here you cannot contain yourself, I would love to be dropped from your friends list.

If you would like to comment, hate on, flame, agree with, compliment, cheer on, curse, bless, or otherwise leave your mark, please do so, anytime. I usually respond to most comments, especially the rude ones, and the very nice ones.

If you don't mind being my friend after reading this, please also make a comment at the bottom of the page, and if we don't talk regularly already, I'll make an effort to do so! It would be nice to talk to others who feel the same as I do on many points.

Please, I really do love comments. I love it when people flame me, it gives me something to do in my free time. I love debating, and I don't mind flat-out arguing on occasion. Have at it! You'll make my day whether you flame or congratulate. (:
