A poem about bullying- The truth
This is for anyone who has been bullied for who they are. Race, religion, orientation, for what you look like, for your own opinions. This is for those that feel despair within.
Chapter 1
scared
Everyday is a struggle
walking down the flaming halls
that scorch the skin.
Scars will never be erased,
forever I must struggle within.
"Different" you say?
Everyone is different in my eyes.
No such thing as normal.
That's a fact of life.
I am human.
Treat me as such.
I am someone great,
but I still have to face your punch.
Anyone who taunts is a coward.
They feel insecure,
and scared.
Frightened in their own skin.
Terrible they feel within.
Despair is a thing of the past.
Hope for a new world is on the rise.
I know someday,
I wont have to hide.
walking down the flaming halls
that scorch the skin.
