Chapter 1

The Espalda Automáticos

by: Jinkz
Jaycee's POV
I don't know who snicked to the cops that I was under aged, smoking pot, and whatever else that police man said I shouldn't be doin', but when I find them Imma make sure my fist is the last thing they see. Unlike the other kids involved with the Espalda automáticos, I don't play around. I get the job done and I really don't care what the consequences are. All that matters is that I get the job done and I get it done right.
I guess most of you are wondering what the Espalda automáticos are. Well I'll tell you. It's a gang that started in Hidalgo, Mexico and moving into the US. Quickly the gang moved up to my hometown in Texas, the gang was there far before I was born. Ages of member range from six to seven-five or younger or older. Most of the members are guys, I was an exception. I joined when I was ten. It may be a young age to you but I really didn't care, I was a kid who wanted to follow the crowd. When I was fourteen my older brother, Trent, died as cause of the gang. Everyone thought that would snap me back to reality, that my brother's death would make me turn back into the sweet little girl I used to be. Heck no! I was already in, and I wasn't leaving so easily.
Within months of Trent's death, my status went up. I went from being a solider, the lowest level, to a vice president, one of the highest statuses there is. They called me diosa ,meaning goddess in English. I was and still am proud of my name. I was a goddess to them. I could shoot someone and not care, it didn't matter to me anymore, I was hardened.
My rankings had been marked by the tattoos on my back. One feather for every rank I went up. So far I have five, leaving me at my high status. Unlike most of the other members, my tattoos are hidden well and I also don't have many. You see I don't think tattoos mark who a gang member is, it's how they act. Though I do have my fair share, I don't go flaunting them around town. My favorite was the gangs symbol. They took a star and had an eagle flying out the middle. The five sides of the star standing for something. Loyalty, trust, brotherhood(or sisterhood in my case), love, and peace. Those are the main rules. Stay loyal to your fellow members, trust the gang, keep the brotherhood alive, love I'm not exactly sure what that stands for, and finally peace, keep the peace in the brotherhood. Five main rules, breaking one is punishable by death.
That is the Espalda automáticos. Now I guess I should explain why I'm here right now, on a plane, instead of on the streets with my fellow "brothers." It's because someone snicked on me, told the cops that I was under aged smoking pot, shooting people, and walking the streets with a gang. Most of the police wouldn't care, because this happens all the time and they can't stop it, but I'm different. How so? My uncle is a cop so, apparently, the other cops see it as their duty to right the wrong my parents have made and save a fellow officers niece. I respect the loyalty they have to their fellow officers but hate the fact that because of my uncle I'm being taken away from my brothers, and parents.
Now I'm going to live with my uncle in some deserted town called Forks, get it forks like what you eat with. I know I think it's stupid too. Apparently, this town has no gang activity whatsoever so that's why I was sent there. I think his name is Charlie, Charlie Swan. I know another irony. I wonder if he'll look like a bird, I've never actually meant the guy. From what I hear though, he had a daughter. I bet she's a little wimp, one that can't even take a gun shot. I beat she's afraid of guns and anything else that is "dangerous." I wonder if I can get Gun Smoke to bring my gun up to Forks for me, you know just in case. I already got a few knifes through airport security but I doubted I'd have as much luck with a gun.
"Attention passengers, our flight is descending, please take your seats and buckle up."
I smirked. "Looks like I'll be taking Forks by storm," I laughed. This might actually be fun, I could scare the heck outta some people and own this town with in a week. There's nothing to be afraid of here anyway. There's nothing to be afraid of anywhere because considering all the stuff I've been through, I'm not afraid anymore. I'll never be afraid again.

**(The picture is of Jaycee. Espalda Automáticos means Back Breakers in Spanish. Also please comment, I really wanna know if this was a good idea. And I'm not sure if this will be a Jasper, Emmett, Edward, or Jacob story. Most likely not an Edward since Bella's in the story but still who knows.)**
