Resistance

I'm gonna start something. And I don't care if it works. But I want to be known as the girl who cared about the world and thought that we should all embrace our lives and not someone else's twisted vision of a life. We can only live once, so why the hell live someone else's way? It's YOUR LIFE! Live it how YOU want to, because when you're 99 dying in a nursing home, you'll think "I should'a done __." and maybe if you had you'd have lived to be a hundred. So if you're still with me, READ ON.

To all the people who have gone above the level of popularity and said 'what the hell? I am my own person!' and could care less what the world thinks. To the people who are beautiful any way they choose to be, whether it is popular or not. Where do you think we get trendsetters? The people people admire are the people who step out and say, 'the hell. I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do and I'm gonna do it TODAY how I WANT TO DO IT. You all aren't going to tell me i'm ugly anymore, cuz im not gonna take any more of your BS! It's going to my head and I can't stand it so I won't! And if I am ugly to you, well then you'd better take a look in the mirror, cuz you make me look gorgeous when I stand beside you! OR go see how many models have acne and glasses. Exactly. So SUCK IT, people who care if they fit in. If you really are your own person, you will be beautiful even if you don't fit in. And no, this doesn't mean wearing tees that say 'be yourself.' That's pretty much fitting in with the 'different' crowd.' COME ON GUYS. YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN CLIQUES. Let's all break free from this mess of status and length of skirts and flat irons and money.
