Pull Gold From My Soul, Diamonds from My Heart (A Willow Smith Love Story)

One dark, stormy night in New York City, a homeless man walked the streets. He had nowhere to go, no one to love. The bright lights shone ahead of him like beacons in the dark, but the magical city did not affect him. He came to a shop. Its flashing sign read, FIND YOUR FUTURE. He needed some insight, so the man stepped out of the rain and into the shop. Surprisingly, no one was in there except the wizened old woman wearing many rings, beads, and a long purple scarf that clung to her frail neck like a small child clings to his mother. The woman beckoned to him, so he came forth. She pointed to a chair that was positioned in front of her, so the man sat. The woman asked him what he wanted. The man thought for a moment, then said, "My future." The woman smiled, and her teeth were shockingly white and straight. She pulled out a crystal ball. Inside, there were pearly purple and pink clouds swirling around. The man was fascinated. The fortune teller rubbed her hands all over the ball, closing her eyes and swaying back and forth. As the man watched the ball, images of bars of gold and piles of diamonds appeared. The man reached for them, never having seen anything this valuable in his life. Immediately, the woman opened her eyes, snapped her fingers, and disappeared. In her place were twenty golden bars and seven of the biggest diamonds the man had ever seen. Looking around to make sure no one was watching, the man scooped up the valuables and slipped out of the shop, off to start a renewed life.

That same night, a little black baby girl was born, by the name of Willow.
