BIG NEWS I THOUGHT I'D SHARE WITH ALL MY SISTERS OUT THERE... :)
Merry meet, sisters.
Chapter 1
Here is the news:
Merry meet and blessed be, sisters.
I have found my religion, and have decided to become wiccan. This is a belief in mother earth and nature, but also some witchcraft, and worship of different gods depending on your interpretation, but mainly greek gods and godesses, and ancient legends such as Aphrodite. As my main worship I have chosen Hecate, though.
I feel as if I have released a large burden, in becoming wiccan, and i;ve never felt so good with my religion! :)
So yes, I'm quite pleased, and am currently working on setting my sacred space and pencilling in my full moon rituals and circle casting! :)
I at least have someone to talk about with this stuff, too. My father and step mother are very supportive (and agnostic), and one of my best friends, Caitlin, is also looking in to Wicca, so I am hoping to help her in that decision. My friend Maddy, who is generally Atheist, is amazing in this, too. I am hoping to talk to Amanda about this, as she is quite supportive, but I am a little anxious about Ash. She is highly religious, supersticious, and very much christian, and I don't really want her family thinking less of me because of religion. So I am going to have to be delicate with her.
For now, though, things are going to be basically the same. :) I'm continuing with my writing, and I was already looking in to spirits and the dead, so nothing new there haha. :) The only difference is that now I can be confident in the practise of spells and witchcraft, and in exactly a year and a day I can perform the initiation ritual that means I am full wiccan, I have read. :)
If I am to major in anything, wicca wise, I think it may be either animals or herbs or charms...I'm not sure. I would also love help finding my wiccan craft name from all my fellow sisters out there. (Just some chants and techniques to help it come to me quicker.)
Thank you all so much for your support, sisters. If anyone is new to this, also, I would be glad to help them on their path to sound mind, for one thing, and I would love to chat to other wiccans out there anytime!
For now, Merry part and blessed be.

Enjoy the religion! :D
I'm wiccan as well :) I'm glad you've chosen such a well grounded religion. best wishes!
I'm a newbie Wiccan too! And I can tell you, I completely understand what you mean when you said it felt like releasing a large burden. It's been that way for me from the first moment I read about Wiccan beliefs written by a sincere Wiccan. (: I'd love to talk with you! I don't think I would get a lot of support from my family, and it really made me smile to read that you had such support. :DD
