Ella, Ella, Ella

Okay, so prom is next week and I have no one to go with and a dress and limo is absolutely out of the question. There is one guy that I would absolutely LOVE to go with. He is on the football team and THE most popular guy in school. But why would he go with me? Sure I'm kinda smart, and not hideous, but I am still a total dork. My only friend is a gay guy, and he us like the best shopper on the planet. And he has other people that would be better for him, like my annoyingly cheerleader twin sister, Alexa. She is little miss perfect and was crowned that twelve years ago, when we were five.
She has like, a major crush on him. That is about the only thing me and Alexa have in common, other than our genetic makeup. She is perky and popular while I am dorky and smart.

So three weeks before prom, it was announced that it was a masquerade and dates would be pointless and we should just meet someone on the dancefloor. This could be beneficial or scarring if I play the cards right.
Alexa comes up to me in the hallway and says, "Ella, I hope none of the little snorts think that I am you and try to dance with me." Snort is her word for anyone who isn't popular. Of course. She is using prom against me. Sometimes I really hate having an identical twin. Couldn't mom wait for another year or so before popping her out?

Tony, my BFF, wants to go shopping after school on Friday for dresses. Ugh. He will pick one that makes me look all girly and will find one for him that makes him look like Lady Gaga.

Okay so it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We ended up picking out a gorgeous drees for me and I convinced him to where a skirt suit. My dress is light purple and is strapless. The skirt part is all feathery and comes to about mid-thigh. Then Tony showed me the best part. A brand spanking new monster truck!!! Way better than a limo!
