The Dark Lord Mestrious Flare
This story is the first appearance of the Blood Knight. The Blood Knight is one of three gods worshiped by a cult. This story takes place in a city called Zaergenzeral, in a continent on earth called RavenGuard. Three friends go to Zaergenzeral for their own interests, and meet the Dark Lord Mestrious Flare.
Please note that this was my first story, so there are many flaws.
In a town neighboring Smokeriver, an evil you cannot imagine lurks in the darkness. This town, Zaergenzeral, is in the infamous country of RavenGuard. Nobody tours the town or even the country, due to the rumors past visitors spread around to other parts of the world. Only three people visited after ten years of isolation. During their visit, a Dark Lord from the pitch-black darkness appeared, making sure their year-long visit turns into an eternity spent in darkness.
"Breaking news here on Random TV: News Edition- Another body was found near the Eiserne Forest. This time, it was a four-year-old cat. It was completely drained of blood, like a goat attacked by a chupacabra in Mexico. Wow, I love working for the news, Harry."
"Me, too. I like working for the news just as much as you do. Talking to the citizens of Zaergenzeral by reading the words off a teleprompter. Chupacabra in Mexico... who writes this stuff?!"
Red and Heather McCormick, also including their best friend Kenny Sangere, were watching Random TV and packing their things for a trip to Zaergenzeral, despite the rumors of the town. "There's no such thing as rumors! They're just stories made up by creepy people!" Red said. That's what rumors are, aren't they?
"More breaking news on Random TV: News Edition- another body was found by the Eiserne Forest. This time, it was a grizzly bear that was roaming the forest. Its neck artery was severed and all the blood spilled out, I guess. I mean, it was like a raisin: all drained of liquid and nasty. Huh... Where does the blood go? I think it goes down the toilet. Oh- more news today. A large pool was found filled with blood in an alley behind Brahms' General Store. We have Harry on the scene."
"Hello, Shelly. Yes, we have found a pool of dark blood in the alley. Police are testing the blood to see if it matches the DNA of the discovered bodies. Ooh... I would love to take a swim in that..."
"Harry said nothing, my dear viewers, and uh... Seacrest, out!"
The drive to Zaergenzeral was a long one. The roads from Smokeriver to Zaergenzeral are really twisty, and it makes the trip longer. Every few hours Red would ask, "Are we there yet? I'm hungry and tired and sleepy and other stuff", despite the fact that she's driving.
SQUICH!!
Heather and Kenny knew Red squished something with her car.
