~It was such a beautiful spring day. A beautiful clear blue sky, a nice warm temperature accompanied by a slight breeze. The birds were singing and the bunnies were hoping about the grass as Lilly and her friend Anna sit down outside during lunch hour. But one thing was troubling our herione Lilly and that was...~
I wish she would shut up. I love Anna to death, but sometimes she never stops talking. I hate what she's blabbing on about too, some new guy. Oh please. How typical, a 'hot' new mysterious guy shows up in town and all the girls are acting like he's the only male that walks the earth. Get over it, he's probably gay or something.
"...You should see his eyes, dreaaaammmyyyy, and oh, the way the light shines of his pale skin. Absolutely gorgeous!"
"Who cares?" I snapped.
"Well then... Wait a sec, I bet you haven't even seen him, have you?. HA! You haven't even seen him. Once you do, you'll be talking about him, non-stop." she went on, "I can't wait! Soon I'll be the one telling YOU to shut up!"
"I never told you to shut up!"
"No, but you were obviously thinking it..." She said.
"I hate how you read my mind." I said, then yawned. "I hope I pass the science test, I've been studying hard for like a week and-" I stopped, and stared.
Oh, my gosh. That's got to be the guy she was talking about. Sitting on a bench, reading a thick book. He looked like he was tall.. Pale skin, sparkling blue eyes and jet black hair. Perfect lips and an adorable nose, neatly kept eyebrows and amazingly clear skin. He almost glowed in a way. I was astonished. Hypnotized.
"Looks like Lilly's seen the new guy" I heard Layla say behind me, she must of come to sit with us and seen me staring. However, I paid no attention, for I couldn't take my eyes off him. Then he suddenly turned to see me staring at him, and he must of been annoyed by it because he got up and started walking back inside the school. For a second, I felt bad for him. Almost everygirl he passed stared at him as he walked back inside, that kind of attention would bother me, and it must bother him. I forced myself to snap out of it, feeling a little guilty at staring so creepily, only to find Anna and Layla going on about thier nails. I joined in a bit, but I couldn't take my mind off of, well, who else.

Writers note: Okay, so it seems very cliche and been-done-before right now, but this is just chapter one. I've been typing away at this for a while now, finding time to write it and even struggling to even get my words down. But I promus it will not be your typical twilight-like story. And trust me, Lilly is no boring 'im not once ounce of girly' bella swan. (No offense to twilight lovers) Just give it a chance. :D
