My eyes are blue,
My soul is black,
Don't have a lot of money,
Have only one shoe,
There is something that I cherish,
Something quite a thing,
Something that makes me sing,
I can be alone in darkness,
Light too, I can breath in the musky air,
I'm not to different from you.
My heart can be broken,
That's why I am alone,
I may look weak and fragile,
Can easily brake a bone,
I'm strong, I'm smart,
Though you might not think so,
I'll stay alone in the dark tonight,
While your out making things right,
Alone with my thoughts,
Alone with myself,
Dark but Alone,
I am happy with it.
Do not change me,
I plead,
Let's start our lives,
Plant our seed.
Because we can be Alone....

nice poem Katie :) but just 'cos you're alone doesnt mean it should be dark.
