Why should I read the Bible for myself?

I hear often of people who "believe" in scripture, then I find out most people only pick up their Bible to prove themself to be right and others to be wrong. I also found out that when people are asked about things in the Bible they don't know what they are. Take some time to see if you can answer the questions below without picking up your Bible.
