Unexpected
"Are you crazy?" Juniper asked me. I was sitting in the library figuring out how to ask Alex out. "Juniper, I am not crazy he's just different I like different" I answered turning my head "Different?" She scoffed "He's a level ten weirdo" she exclaimed. "Shhh!' the librarian Mrs Rogers said. "Look" I whispered "I really like him and some support would be appreciated". "I'm sorry I just don't want to see you get hurt" She whispered back. "Well fine if you're not going to help me or at least support me, I am just going to leave" I said angrily as I packed my books away and left. I exited the library and walked straight into Alex "Hi!" I said breathing heavily "Hey" he said "I was looking for you" I explained "I mean not that I was stalking you or anything I just wanted to ask you something" I continued. He chuckled and smirked "If you have been searching for me it must be important, so ask away" He said smirking as if he knew what I was going to ask. "I was wondering if you would like to go out sometime like the movies or something" I asked nervously. He looked at me with a raised eyebrow for about a minute then smiled 'Sure I'll pick you up at 7" He said just before he turned and walked away. "Do you know where I live?" I shouted after him. "Of course" He answered. I saw Juniper walking down the hall and I changed directions "Alessia!" she called. I breathed in turned around and walked up to her. "I'm sorry I know I didn't support you and I should have been there to help you but I know his reputation and I knew there was a possible chance he could hurt you so I tried to warn you I'm sorry I didn't tell you outright" She explained not taking a breath at the end she breathed in and out like an exhausted dog. "What reputation?" I asked "I will show you" Juniper answered taking me by the arm and leading me to her locker. She unlocked her locker and took out files she gave them to me and said "Read them and you'll see what i'm talking about". I skimmed through them and stopped at a picture of a beautiful girl I read the report underneath "Girl was found dead in a swimming pool drained of blood and two puncture wounds in the neck" "What does this have to do with Alex?" I asked. "Alex was her boyfriend at that time and with every other girl found dead Alex was their boyfriend or they were just starting to date". I gasped "Maybe it's just a coincidence" I suggested. Juniper shook her head "Look with every murder the girl was found bloodless and with two puncture wounds in her neck and it seemed to follow Alex where ever he went" She explained."Juniper, I have a date with him tonight" I exclaimed. "You can't go I don't want him to hurt you" She said with worry in her eyes. "I have to go otherwise it would look suspicious don't worry I will be careful, never letting him alone with me" I explained. She nodded "OK well school's over so bye, good luck and be careful" She said finally. I arrived home and I paced. What should I wear? What should I say?Does he like me?Is he going to stand me up?
I put on after hours of thought a beautiful strapless black dress. True to his word he arrived at 7 exactly my parents of course did not know so when they saw me all dressed up they looked suspicious."Where are you going?" My mother asked. "Just out" I answered. "With who?" My father asked. I sighed "Alex" I said. "A boy!" my father exclaimed. "What your father means is a boy how wonderful we hope you have a great time" She continued blocking out my fathers ranting. I nodded and opened the door. Alex was standing there looking hot in casual clothing "I look to dressy don't I?" I asked. He shook his head and whispered "You look beautiful". My father was watching his every movement like a hawk if looks could kill Alex would already be dead. He moved toward the car and I followed it was a sleek, black Lamborghini. He opened my door for me and then got in. We sped off towards the movies. I had already broken my promise to Juniper I was alone with him and he had control of the car he could stop the car at any moment and kill me but he didn't and we made it to the movies. We decided to go see a horror movie he had his arm around my head rest "Do you mind if I rest my head on your shoulder?" I asked "Not at all" he answered I snuggled into him. Alex was breathing on my hair his breaths were getting heavier and heavier I turned around "I'm fine" he said in a strained voice. "No your not let's go get some air" he nodded and we left the cinema and went outside. "Can you tell me what's wrong?" I asked he shook his head "I can't involve you" Alex answered "Involve me in what?" I ask "Please Alessia you need to leave" He pleaded. "Why?" I asked being stubborn. "Because if you don't leave I might not be able to control myself and that won't end well" He said darkly."Alex, I know about the girls who died, your past, there has to be an explanation for it" I said curious. "You don't want the answer" He said, turning away from me. "I know you're not a killer" I said scared. "You're wrong that is exactly what I am and if you don't leave you're going to end up like those girls".

I ran I had to run and warn Juniper and tell everyone and move to a different state, no a different country."Please" he called after me "Don't tell anyone!" he shouted. I ran faster and he appeared in front of me "I need your word" he said, his eyes burning "No....o..o" I managed to stumble out. Alex groaned "Run and don't come back if I come after you run to your house I can't come in unless you let me in" he explained. I could tell he was trying to protect me and I followed his instructions I ran straight home and crying my eyes out. I ran inside my house, closed the door and double locked it. When my mother saw me she ran to me and hugged me "What happened, darling?" She asked, "Nothing I'm just going to go to bed" I answered she nodded and let me go. When I got to my room I called Juniper. She answered "Juniper, Alex is a vampire!" I whispered. I heard her gasp on the line. I told her everything that had happened. She told me to come over and I sneaked out I ran to her place and knocked on the door. She answered and let me in. I ran inside and slammed the door behind me.
