Such a Sad Word
This is a little tribute to the TARDIS (for all you Doctor Who fans) from the Doctor's Wife. I thought it was one of the best episodes ever, and i will miss the woman-version of the TARDIS very very much.
There is one word in the universe that can tear down nations, or build them up.
It can help someone fly, or weigh them down to the darkest pit.
in all of time, this one very special word is so powerful, it can rule for ten thousand years,
but it is so fragile, it could only live for ten minutes.
Such a complex word
such a wonderfully sad word
Such a magnificent word
such a tragically big word
such a simple word.
And what is this word?
It describes everything and nothing at the same time.
It is so small you could mention it and you wouldn't even notice it,
yet is it so huge it would not fit in a million galaxies.
That word is 'alive'.
And although it may seem like a cheerful and joyous word,
it is a word that people mourn over like a brother,
it is sad
when it ends.
