It all Started with a Kiss

BANG-BANG-BANG! I shot straight up. I was awoken from my sleep by someone pounding on the door. I groggily rubbed my eyes as I swung my feet to the edge of my bed and hop down to the floor. That's one of my many disadvantages of being a twenty year old that's barely five feet tall and not the skinniest girls at my college. Don't get me wrong, I'm not fat, but I'm also not skinny... I guess you could say that I am somewhere in between. Well anyways, I put on my glasses and padded over to the door. As soon as I reached it, the pounding seemed to stop. I was going to turn around and head back to my nice warm bed, when I heard a crashing noise come from the other side of my door. I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat and put my hand on my chest to try and keep my heart from jumping out. As soon as it had reached a semi normal pace, I opened the door...

When i looked out, there was a person crumbled up in a ball infront of my door. He was frantically trying to close up some wounds on his legs and forearms. I ran back into my apartment and grabbed some towels from my bathroom closet andgrabbed my cell from my nightstand. When i had returned, he had lost almost half of his blood.

I tourniqueted off the lacerations on his leg and dialed 9-1-1.


"9-1-1, what's the emergency?"
