I wish upon a fish

I looked into the slow moving creek. thing so myself. I was collected. Calm. Inspired. I ran the tips of my finger across the icy water, gliding across a tiny group of fish. i spoke aloud to whoever might want to listen "If i could, i wish my love for life would shine through me and embrace my faults and inner qualities. I want to find a small shimmer of love in this moment of my life." I was eager, silly, and childish. It was what i wanted, and what i wished i had. even for a small moment. i just wanted to race a little in my life. To be in the fast line, even if i lost in the end, still.. im waiting at the starting line reving my engine waiting for the flag. i still am. i wont run out of gas till i finish the race. I will win in my mind and heart.
