I got into my best dress. I wasn't excited, but my mom was. As I walked down the staircase everyone was looking at me. But I was used to it. A boy was waiting for me. "Good evening Princess Yuki. I will be your escort this evening. My name is Prince Soshi.", he said. He kissed my hand. "Nice to meet you.", I said. He went & got me some blood. He grabbed my hand & pulled me on a platform at the front of the ballroom. He held my hand & knelt down on one knee. "This must be a joke..", I thought. "Princess Yuki Rose Sen, will you be my wife?", he asked. I had taken this crap all my life. "No! I'm tired of people telling me what to do, what to say, what to wear. I'm sick of it. I don't even know you let alone even like you enough to marry you!", I shouted. I ran to my room. I had kept a pair of street clothes under my bed for emergancies. I got dressed in them & climbed out my window. I was headed to Tokyo.
