Eperiment 23
I'm tori I'm eleven but I look like I'm fifteen. I stepped outside breathed in the warm air of summer. I smiled, suddenly I was running at full speed. My brown curls bouncing delicately behind me. At full speed I can run a mile in three minutes without getting tired, or sweating. I know I'm not normal. Right now I'm home sick, my parents say I should be in bed. I say yeah right I feel better running outside. Im in the woods behind my house these woods stretch for miles in the middle there is small meadow. 'I'll sleep here tonight' I thought I almost never sleep in my room, tonight I was too lazy to run home. I found my treehouse and fell asleep. At dawn I woke up to pain in my back. I reached back and felt feathers I stood up on the branches I twined togetherto make small treehouse. I looked behind me and saw wings they had cheetah spots over a blue and indigo feathers. Of course that caused me to freak out and run out of my treehouse (did I mention the treehouse was one hundred feet in the air?) I screamed and forgot abot my wings till I Was about twenty feet from going splat.
I unfurled my wings I started flapping my eleven foot long wings, my feet barely brushed the long grass. I went home and acted like nothing had happened. I grinned at my mom and waved as she stared at my dirty clothes. I put on clean clothes this is what I looked like:

I ate breakfast and got on bus.
After school I saw my best friend Alexa across the street. I waved to her and started to run across the street to her. Suddenly she screamed as something hit me hard, then everything went black.
Alexa's Pov.
I screamed, Tori had waved to me and started to cross the street. Suddenly a black Sudan hit her and I was screaming. Her eyes fluttered shut and she dropped like a rock, I stopped screaming and ran over to her as the Sudan drove away. I tried to pick her up but I couldn't she was too heavy. I was in the middle of a soon to be busy street. I turned and saw my friend nick staring at me. I yelled, "get over here, a car hit Tori!!!" His eyes widened as he came over to help, his version of complete astonishment. He helped me pick her up she was still unconscious but otherwise she looked fine. Although her wrist was bent in a way no wrist should be that was not good.
Tori's Pov.
I woke up groaning because at once I smelled the smell of hospitals, also because the pain in my wrist. I heard alexa's frantic thoughts ' good tori is awake, I have to tell her what happened! Okay, a black Sudan hit you I think that will work.' "What will work," I asked rubbing my wrist now it just hurt. Her eyes widened, " how did you…" I got up and grabbed her arm and pulled her to the bathroom it was very small not big enough for my wings. I told her to never tell anyone. Then I told her the whole story and her eyes widened in amazement.
Alexa's Pov.
As tori told me what had happened yesterday up to now I was amazed. Of course I asked sheepishly, " can I see your um, wings?" Tori grinned at me and grabbed my hand and pushed it other shoulder as she tried unsuccessfully to unfurl her wings. Finally I laughed and rubbed inbetween her wings. A purr ecsaped her lips and we burst out laughing.
Tori's Pov.
It felt good laughing with Alexa, soon she was running a finger along a blue feather grinning hugely. " feathers are so soft." She paused, " can you carry me?" I was surprised I didn't anyone would ever say that to me. " I think I can," I said slowly. "Good can you take me home," she asked. "Sure," I said.She smile, "thank you so much its really exhausting carrying you all the way to the hospital…" Alexa gasped as something popped up on top of her head. It was a gold color she quickly covered them. She jumped as I saw something that was the same color as the things on her head. She quickly leaned against the small bathroom wall. She laughed nervously as I gave her the 'show me or I kill you' look. She apparently took that seriously cause she whimpered and showed me her golden cat ears on top of her head and a tail that was slender like a house cat's tail. I looked at her seriously and said, " I show you my wings, yet you won't show me your cat ears and tail."
She meowed experimentally and giggled nodding still laughing hard.
Alexa's POV.
We were walking down the stairs I kept my ears pressed tightly against my head out of sight and my tail around my hips tucked under my shirt. Tori's wings were tucked in, as we started walking out the hospital doors the lady at the counter saw us and appariently saw Tori's hospital bracelet. "Wait you can't leave ye…" we couldn't hear her anymore. We walked behind the hospital tori shot out her beautiful wings. She picked me up bridal styal and leaped five feet inthe air and started flapping her wings.
We flew far above the world the wind whipped through my hair. The sky was clear and blue, below on the ground people were so small looking like small ants moving slowly down their trails. We made it to our houses, they were the only two houses for miles.
Unknown person's POV.
I was walking to my meeting point, my first mission began in a small meadow. According to the mission files I'm supposed to help catch three girls that used to be failures. One girl had strawberry blonde hair that went down to her hips, her eyes were a light blue she was two percent house cat she was known as Alexa. Another was known as Aria, she had black hair with purple eyes, she was two percent avian. The third and most important was Tori. She was a brunette with ocean blue eyes, and was two percent avian and three percent cheetah.
I finally made it to the meadow i had to admit it was beautiful. I met up with five guys that were supposed to help. time for the games to begin.
