Blindness
This is the result of blindfolding myself for a couple of hours. Before you ask: YES! it was for an assignment! I'm not that weird... :P Although it was very interesting.
An endless void of emptiness stretches ahead,
Isolating.
Trapping.
Suffocating.
Trapped inside my own body, desperate to be free,
But too afraid to take a step,
Into the unknown.
In case I fall...
Each step is like leaping off a cliff, a suicide mission.
But I know I must, if I want to live.
Lifting a heavy foot into empty space
Raising hands against some invisible force.
I take a step into the darkness...
Daring myself to be free

Haha yeah its hard.. I know someone who is blind, he is 3.. Or 5, not that sure. But he is adorable, and I like teaching him :) I am doing my 8th grade speech on blindness :)

Yeah... I have a friend who's a bit blind. She just has to wear these prescription glasses :P
