The Inking Pen
A Poem of Myself
Chapter 1
The Inking Pen
The pen moves rigidly across the paper as my emotions pour out of my heart.
Silence is all they know.
Crying inside for help that should be rightfully mine, but no one seems to move.
Inside, the pain, is only so much that I can take, that tonight I believe shall be my last.
My breathing is heavy.
For I can't keep my sobs to myself.
My lips pursing together, yet slowly breaking, to unleash the feelings of truth.
My eyes tighten, keeping the tears inside, for I can't stand the way I am.
