Chapter 1
Fight
"Please forgive me, I'm sorry!" Said my dad screaming and slowly loosing his voice.
"Maggie I have something for you!" Said my mom yelling for me.
"Stop doing this! Stop this now!" Shrieked my dad crying.
I came downstairs and looks around. Nothing but sadness fills my soul. I start to cry. I run into my room avoiding my parents. Tears stream from my eyes. Nothing is right, nothing is good. I grab the $825 I earned from working, a blanket, my backpack, a few things laying around, and left. I grabbed my bike and went as far as I could bike. Night fall came it must be midnight because everything was pitch black. I ran into the trees where no one could see me. I broke sticks and leaves. Using them to make a small shelter I took off my jersey and sweats and put my night dress on. The blanket kept me warm as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
I heard rustling then I woke up. Yawning I put my jersey on and my sweats and ran out of the woods. I heard growling, lots and lots of growling. I hopped on my bike and went as fast as I could. I see a supermarket. I think to myself what if I get a job? I park my bike and run in.
"Please let me have a job!" I said to a cashier
"I don't know you, plus you have to ask Earl." She said back
"Where is Earl?" I asked panting.
She pointed to a room. I kicked the door open to find a man sleeping there.
