Original Poetry
I'm known to write the occaisonal poetry, so when I do, I'll share it with anyone who cares to read it here.
Previously known as 'Random Poetry', I decided to change it as a lot of it isn't very random. xD
Just some random poem I wrote while in LA. No particular reason to it. Don't even know what it means.
Slowly passing
Is the time
Time I wish had gone by
So that this would never be
Another mystery
Of how what happened went wrong again
It was simple
Before all of this mess unveiled
Rearing its false-pretty face
Luring us into something we didn’t know
I remember the days
When the leaves would fall
Gently lilting to the ground
And we would run
Laugh
Not a care to be held in the world
And then that monster came
Snuck up in an unsuspecting form
It seemed an innocent and genuine question
But deep down, it knew it meant so much more
Of course I was dumb
Stupid and naïve
I let the question pass
I agreed most heartily
Nothing seemed to change
We continued on with our lives
But somewhere
I’m sure you felt it too
Something was wrong with our world.
And from there it gradually deepened
Worming its way into every thing we did
Every word held double meaning
Not a soul to be trusted with any thing.
Soon we were so deep
We were drugged on a false hope
That we both knew wasn’t meant to be
But we ignored the warning flags
We let ourselves let go
And then we ruined it all.
In one moment, everything we had was gone
That simple question turned to show its true identity
And it roared with a hideous growl
Terrified, you embraced it.
Horrified, I ran away.
And now, there is nothing.

LOL No that's my too-lazy-to-write-out-the-subject-in-my-assignment-notebook lingo xD Most classes that are more than one word get an abbreviatio or acronym that everyone uses instead of the actual course name.

welcome! laughs Mom and I were talkin' 'bout him today... there's this line in "I Am The Walrus" by the Beatles that says, Boy you shoulda seen them kickin' Edgar Allen Poe. Mom felt sorry for him XD.

Yeah XD. It was written by John Lennon because he was fed up with people dissecting his songs, so he made an un-dissectable one.
