The Undieing Truth
Chapter 1
The Funeral
Walking into the funural was a nightmare. I could feel everyones eyes one me, judging me. I could almost hear their acussing thoughts. Saying maybe she murdered him. Everyone thinks that I murdered my late husband for his money. Others say it was his jelous sister who killed him because she was left out of the will. "Gwendalin Ann Summers, I haven't seen you in ages", says Carmen Hendersen looking into my eyes. "Hello Carmen, how are you this morning," I said secretly glaring behind my Dolce & Gabana sunglasses. "I am great darling, I have bought a new poodle, and my son charles graduated from harvard this summer ahead of his class," She said gloating, " But forget about me darling what about you". I did not feel like talking to this woman but I did saying, " Oh me, well, I just have been moarning the loss of my husband, I have missed him, I am use to him sitting across from me in the study reading his news paper and drinking his coffee". She looked shocked to hear me say that, she looked as though I was not to be missing my husband, like it was against everything that is right. Then she said, "I do not understand darling, I thought you were pleased that your husband is dead". I was near to slapping her, why in the world would I be pleased with the man I love dieing. Who in their right mind would be alright with their husband dieing, other then Ms. Carmen Hendersen. " Well", she said waiting for me to answer her question. "I love my husband and I have always loved my husband and I still love my husband, I have never wished his death, I miss him every day, there has not been a day thats gone by that I do not miss him, and you can take that to the bank woman", I said anger rising in me at every word.
