poem story thing

just a thing i wrote to my bf, well, i dont really know if were still together anymore. anyways, i just needed to get it off my chest. sorry if it totally sucks, i cant really get my thoughts straight right now.

Chapter 1

left me without a heart

You told me you loved me. You said you wanted to be with me forever. Then you walked out of my life........ and you took my heart with you. I wake up each day and put a smile on my face and act as if nothing happened. No one knows that i'm crying inside. Well, today as i was staring out the window in english class, i realized something. Was it really love if you had the intention of stealing my heart and not giving it back? Why did you say you wanted to be with me forever if you knew you would walk away? Well, i could only think of one reason... someone did the same to you. You had your heart stolen and someone left you on your knees. Well, the thing is, I know how it feels cause even though you didn't mean to, you just did it to me. You stole my heart and ran away with it. So when you come to realize that you not only stole my heart, but shattered it into a million pieces, don't bother trying to fix it. Just keep it so every time you look at it, you will remember that i could have been the best thing you ever had.
