Turning Quibblo Around
Chapter 1
Read On...
Se lately there's been all these people writing about how Quibblo just doesn't feel the same anymore. I've read about it and generally agreed, but at this very moment I'm really feeling it.The word "quitting" occurred to me, but only for a moment. I've promised you I won't quit until I have no friends left on this website, and no one who cares about me here. No. This place is still a home for me, and I still have many friends.
So...I think we should actually do something to lighten the mood. Bring Quibblo back to how it used to be, in the good old days...Remember them?
I was thinking... What's been the biggest change to Quibblo recently, and the answer was, of course, the story feature. I know people wrote stories before the story feature was added, but they were much less common and generally much shorter. Stories take a lot longer to read than Quizzes, which means they can build up in your inbox and cause a lot of stress. Of course, I don't think we should stop posting stories! But I thought... Maybe we could have a day each week where we DON'T post any stories. Instead, everyone who reads this (and remembers it :P ) can make a quiz. Something funny and random, something that will make others smile and forget their worries for a little while.
Don't get me wrong, I love reading the stories you guys put up here. But these days, almost every invite I get is a story. No one makes those funny, weird quizzes anymore! I know this may not be the problem at all, and if so it is only a small part of the problem, but I think we should give it a go anyway.
So...What do you say? I was thinking every Saturday? Saturday wherever you are, because I know we're all spread out over different continents. If I get general agreement, I'll re-post this every late each Thursday (which will be around early on Friday for a a lot of people) as a reminder.
Okay...Thanks for reading :D
I hope we get to return to normal soon...
Bye for now.

If you agree with this, pass it on. REPOST! Also, try to work out what's dampening the mood on Quibblo for you personally. Odds are someone else will be feeling it for the same reason. This is the way in which I chose to help, you guys can all too!
That's a good idea!
Thank you! :3
I agree! Story invitations get a little irritating. It doesn't mean you can't write that day if you feel like doing so; you can, but save it as a draft instead! :D
What?
Sorry, but I just can't agree to this. I love writing, and sometimes weekends are the best time for me to write. I usually update my stories on these days, and since I have a LOT of people saying 'Post more soon!' or 'Include my character NOW!' and such, I just have to post straight away. I respect that you might want this, but my writing is something I can't control!
But good luck with the idea! However personally, I have no problem with my messages (even though I have lots!)
I agree, I'm a write-a-holic. I couldn't give up writing for a single day, but it doesn't mean you have to stop writing. Just, like nubilis said, save what you write in your draft instead of publishing it.
I guess I could... but couldn't we make the day a weekday? (:
no cares about you. ur a worlthess sIut. please, go kill yourself.
That's a mean and horrible thing to say! Ripple, don't listen to this mean person.
HEY! YOU DON'T BE RUDE TO SARAH OR YOU'LL PAY THE PRICE!
dont you have anything else to do that be a worthless being that discriminates other people? i guess not you stupid cunt...
Love you too :)
This is just too much trolling for anyone to handle.
all this hate...its beautiful :')
Agreed. I think a lot of people send a lot of stories and it does take a while to get through them all. I havent written anything for a while cuz of it.
I like it!
I'm always so lazy i dont writes stories on a daily basis anyway, but good idea, I'll definitely be making a quiz this Saturaday and every Saturday!!
--Victoria :D
I'm totally with you on this... it won't hurt to not send out story invites for one day. I'd say a good 8 out of 10 messages I get are story invites. I never read them. Just not my thing!
And also, this could just be me being picky, but I think some of the quizzes that are still being made aren't that good - as in, they aren't very long or interesting. I appreciate a quiz with a lot of thought put in to it. Sure it takes time, but it's so worth it! :)
I think it's a great idea! Just one problem though ... I love writing stories and weekends are usually the only time when I can write and post something ... But I agree! Down with haters, I remember and miss the old Quibblo...
good idea^.^♥
