White Wolf (read intro)

Snow shivered as the strong wind came at her like a monster. It was a cold winter night, February 22nd, the day before her birthday. She was waiting for the stroke of midnight to happen, because as most wolves know, you get whatever you want on your birthday. You get first river privileges, all the meat they hunt, and you get to lead the wolves in howling to the moon. It is quite fun to have it your birthday. They even have a buffet of food, and a huge party before midnight. When the stroke of midnight happens, the celebration stops and you must go back to being an ordinary wolf.

Now, as most wolfs know. It is fun to be in the tribe of the white wolves. You are born special, pure white with no sign of any other color. Your eyes have to be blue and you have to be able to hunt very well. As most people know, white wolves are very rare, so there are only a few of them in the tribe. There are three tribes all together, and that makes up the wolf world. Humans don’t know about them, though, they do see some wolfs in the parks and wildlife centers. They just believe they go back to there caves and sleep but that is 100 percent NOT true.

The second rarest wolf pack is the black wolf pack. They have pure black fur with no sign of any other color too, and they all have to have green eyes. They rule the realm of the dark king, King Sartachaleski (say SAR TA HAUL AS KEI) and there leader is Snow’s worst nightmare, Phantom. He is a tall sleek and pure black wolf that is very handsome, but Snow doesn't agree. She thinks he is a jerk. Whenever he is away from her, he is rowdy and mean but whenever he is near her, he is nice, gentle, and talks in a low voice, and controls his temper, but she knows something is up.

The last pack is the regular pack of wolves with wolves white or black or both mixed in with other colors. They are the most common, and there leader is named Eyolf which means lucky wolf. He is very lucky too! He has two best friends, Snow and Randall who was a loyal boy wolf like him. He had beautiful black and white fur and blue eyes that matched Snows. His enemy was Phantom, but he preferred peace over violence.

The day Snow turned 6, was a ceremony. Everyone came to sign and dance, but Snow chose to spend the day playing with her friends. They played tag, and hide-and-seek, and tic-tack-toe, and all the other games you could possibly think of. They laughed and got wet, and slipped in the mud, and when they returned, snow was a mixture of brown, green, white (barely),orange, and a bit of black! (nobody knew where that came from), and Eyolf was black and white and orange and green. They had the best time when she turned 6, but that all was about to change.....

Phantom came bursting on a black stallion. They all knew how to ride, but Phantom was obviously the best. His horse had red eyes and it reared up to show the wolfs that it was ready to strike. He wanted to knock out Eyolf, and capture Snow and keep her for his own, but he had to come up with a devious plan to do it. He clumped a stick over Eyolf's head (it was just enough to make him knocked out) and captured snow into a net. He raced away at a full gallop, and locked Snow in a cage. He was sure she would listen to him if he mind controlled her.......
