Hallow's Eve
Mystique Magus - Beautiful, deceiving, cunning and a very powerful witch.
Jack Ekon - Handsome, strong, capable, and a master at disguise.
Combine these two and the mystery they are ordered to solve doesn't stand a chance... or does it? They have until Hallows Eve to solve it-and the clock is ticking.

Chapter 1
Mystique Magus
A massive fist came slamming down on the oak table, causing it to tremble like a kid cowering away from his or her tormentor. All the arguing came to an immediate and abrupt end. Glares were cast from one person to another, and if looks could kill-no one would leave this room alive.
“Stop it!” A feminine voice growled threateningly. Both of her hands were on the circular table, her slender body leaning on them. Her appearance did not seem scary in the least bit but her powers are what any smart person should be scared of. She was heaving with anger by the time she continued talking.
“You are all just a bunch of ignorant assholes. Our kind is dying-being killed off by knights that have been brainwashed by some powerful, evil warlock and all you guys can do is yell and scream like a bunch of babies at each other. Pathetic.”
A man who seemed to look twice the girls age, stood up and his muddy brown eyes might have made anyone other than her squirm but she stood her ground.
“Mystique Magus, you are but seventeen year's old. How could you-,” the man stopped to sneer at her before he opened his arms wide and gestured to the others around him, “possibly know more than we do?”
“You’re an idiot. Do you not know what my powers are? I can see into the future-one touch and I know you’re entire life story. Piss me off and I’ll become your worst nightmare. I’m no child,” Mystique shot back. But she bit her lip and held back from spilling his life secrets in front of the entire committee. She could be a bitch but she refused to sink that low.
“The lady has a point.” A new voice spoke up now and a smirk appeared across Mystique’s face. Pushing back her long black hair, she turned to greet her accomplice.
"You're no better Mr.Ekon," the older man snorted, taking in Jack's jeans, simple white shirt that spread nicely over his muscular upper body. Mystique blushed slightly but hid her face.
"You are absolutely right," Jack stated and the man whose name I did not care to ask beamed at the compliment, "She's better than me. She knows more and you better listen to her. The consequences will be worse than you dying."
And with that, the silence stretched on for what seemed like eons before it was broken with sounds of metal hitting metal.

Hahah! You would not believe the shock I had when this title showed up in my inbox. I've written a novel named "Hallow's Eve." XD
Other than that, you need a few apostrophes (looked twice the girl's age). This is really good, and I'm intrigued. Hope to read the next chapters soon! (:
Haha thanks for that. I don't think I'm going to keep Hallow's Eve as the title - I just haven't found a title that suits it and one that I want.
So again, thank you (:
