Blood in The Sky : Sequel to Dark in The Night series

We thought there was hope for the two worlds. Mortal and Myth, we had the one creature who could save us all in the war of good and evil.

The Cuvantel Cheie, a person who had the power of life, but now controls darkness. That person, was Mirage. a young 16 year old girl with her best friend Becca, she was to save us all. i do believe that she still can, but now most who have not fallen under evil think she is only destruction. i am Ray, i knew Mirage a long time ago. i have saved her, helped her,..................and loved her. The war, being led by the vampire Primus and his gang of theives and sneaks, has her sided with evil and left us all in ruin. there are only a few of us left who still stand for good. Myself, my friend Damon, Becca, a young girl named Nora, and Alice my ex. most of us have certain abilities on our side. i too am a vampire, Alice is a gryphon, Damon is a vampire hunter ( odd i know ) and Nora is a hidden warrior/ fallen angel. it has been about a year since the war started, and we have managed to stay away from the war for now. i was held capture for a few months in a dungeon that belonged to Primus, but Damon had let a small piece of crucial information about me be put behind him and he decided to help me out. i was once a member of Primus's gang a long time ago. i hurt many people and i never wish to do it again. i was under a spell, mostly, everything else was that i thought he was my friend. there is a creature that was created by the witch Repetto, who works with Primus, called a Tatt. Tatts are made almost entirely out of ink, which makes them almost like tattoos when they burn into your skin. they have a certian magical property to them that lets you be controlled by a certain person ( in this case Primus ) and i was like that until somehow the spell was reversed and i never knew exectly how it happened. I quit Primus's gang and it caused him to almost kill me with a stake. when i met Mirage i thought she would only help us all, i saw her face and i imediatly knew that wasnt all to her. i knew Primus would be after her and i knew i had to protect her. somewhere during that time though, i fell in love and thought nothing bad would ever happen. it was only a dream though, when i realized when she was captured by Primus and he had given her a tatt. i wanted to kill him, but oddly, the tatt didnt work on her. she was immune to the powers of hypnotism with it but everything else it did worked on her, such as night vision and strength. it was a miracle and i went to save her, when i came close though. it was too late and nothing could be reversed. Primus turned Mirage, he bit her and she became a vampire. sadly becoming a vampire by a bite, has you see the world through the biter's eyes and she believes siding with Primus is the right choice now. my deep thoughts were interupted by another scream from Nora. " Nora? whats wrong? " Damon said. ever since we took her in after her family was taken by werewolves, Damon has treated her like a little sister. " Just another nightmare, i am sorry i woke you guys again. " when she saw the true begining of the real battles it had scarred her and now she cant shut her eyes without screaming. i have almost given up hope. However, before Mirage was turned, she wrote everything that had happened to her in a journal, including her hatred of Primus and his little minions. Becca thinks that if she can get Mirage to read it, she might come back with us. it is worth a shot but how could we get her to read it, without getting ourselves killed or captured. i went downstaires for the first time since i was rescued from the castle. i wasnt greeted and Damon didnt say anything like a smart azz would. i sat on the couch and watched worlds dumbest with Alice and Nora while Becca was makingout with Damon. they were together since before Mirage was turned and they loved eachother dearly. it only makes me feel worse. " Hey Ray? you feelin alright? " Nora asked. " Fine it just started getting a little crowded in the attic. " i said. i was telling the truth a little, i really wanted to see the light of the full moon for a bit. it always reminded me of Mirage and that there is still hope out there for all of us.
