Chapter 1

A few things about dieting...

As a wise man once said, "Its not dieting, its how your suppose to treat your body."
So? Treat your body like your supposed to! Don't eat so much junk food, it just slows you down. You might think I mean coke and cookies and brownies and such...but, thats not the only junly stuff, for instance, chips aren't good for you, so just leave them there, were there at. Are those tatertots REALLY good for you? No. Pizzas' bad too. No, not MORE butter and salt on your popcorn! Do you get what I'm saying? No, REALLY get what I'm saying, because if you don't stop reading.
If your really craving popcorn, what are you really craving? Butter and salt to go with your popcorn. Popcorn by itself isn"t bad at all. Gotta a popcorn maker? Well, make your popcorn in that, don't add the salt and butter, though. Taste different? Of course. Taste bad? No.
As you probably already know, soda dehydrates you, same with tea. Even though I know this stuff is bad for me, I keep drinking it because its delicous, are you with me? Its okay sometimes to drink or eat these things, but once it becomes a habit its hard to break.
Your supposed to ave half your body weight in water, so I weigh 90lbs, I get 45 ounces in water a day. If you weigh 115, you get 57 or 58 ounces in water a day, understand? And DO NOT go guzzling down all your water in one sitting, thats not good for you, and it will just make you have to pee really bad.
Drinking water out of a 16 or 24 ounce bottle helps, between the cap and being able to carry it better.
Alright, back to food:Wheat bread is better for you than white. Even if you love white bread sooo much more. Try thinking of the flat tan belly you've always wanted, or wanting to keep.
Dessert...Okay we all love dessert, right? Of course. Well try rewarding youself at the end of the day, week or month with one small dessert! JUnk, food, we all know, is bad for you. Not only for your stomach, making it big and wide(and your arms, legs, back, ect.) but it makes you more unhealthy, most likely have cavities, and makes you pimpley. Not good, eh?
Junk food tastes great on our tastebuds, but not good for you in any way. So why must we ENJOY that chocolate fudge? That reeses cup? I don't know why, except for the tastebuds thing. I mean if you saw what was going on in your body after you ate so much junk, would you still enjoy it so? Maybe, maybe not.
And don't even say: "I'm already fat, whats one more fudge bar gonna do? Nobody cares anyway..."
I'll tell you who cares: You. You care, and you have every right to! Maybe when your eating junky food, a voice at the back of your mind is screaming no. No, you don't want anymore. No, you feel like you could barf.
Your self control is failing you; or rather your failing it. You have potential. Your in control!
Remember that, okay? You got it!
