Bastian Colt Saga
A teenager trying to avenge his family against an evil force but to do so a sacrifice has to be made.
Bastian arose early as usual, for the 15 years he had lived he had worked 12 of them and it had become natural. He and his 5 brothers lived in a small shack on the outskirts of the City and he had been told by his mother to never venture beyond this point. It was the year 2424 the day before Bastian 16th birthday, in one day he was free.
"Just because you almost 16 doesn't mean you can slack off, get down here and eat your broth before your brothers do it for you" His mother was stern woman with strict rules and harsh punishments, she was never wrong but her heart was always in the right place. Bastian rushed downstairs and quickly ate his broth. He caught up with Beau and Sedin while Colton and Lister ran ahead; they all worked at the science laboratory in the heart of the city where they were split in to 3 groups depending on their age.
The brothers got to the metro and stood at platform 12 like they did every day at 6:00am, they were all underweight because of the rations that came in after the 5th World War with Germany, inevitably they lost like they had in the previous two, and it seemed like a myth that Germany had ever lost a war. The train arrived and the 5 of them along hundreds of other teens bundled on a rushed for a seat. As Bastian was large for his age standing nearly 6ft 4 he nearly always got a seat, although his brothers weren’t so lucky, Sedin the youngest of the 5 was pushed and bundled around only to be pulled away by Colton who was the second oldest and Lister’s twin. The brothers all loved each other but it was clear the twins cared so much more about each other than their other siblings. The 5th brother, Beau was the odd one out of the family as he was an albino child, he got bullied a lot at the factory and relied on Bastian to stand up for him whenever there was trouble.
The train arrives at Baji and the hordes exit, Bastian being seated has to wait for the standers to leave before he can get up. He finally leaves the train and spots his brothers leaving the station. Bastian enjoyed being on his own he had time to reflect and imagine what he will do with his life, he never told anyone but secretly he was scared he liked not having to think for himself. He walked after them and prepares for his last day as child. He knows that his adventure is about to start, but what happens in the next months is more than most will face in there whole life.
