My Rules For Surviving The Zombie Apocalypse
Just a list of my rules for surviving the inevitable zombie apocalypse (in no particular order). I'll be doing 3 rules per chapter, and 1 chapter every 1 to 3 days (hopefully).
Rule 1: Stay In Shape
Arguably the most important rule on the list, it is extremely important to stay in good physical condition. When the zombie apocalypse finally roles around you're going to be doing A LOT of running away. But not just running, if you're smart and plan on barricading you safe house to keep zombies, bandits, and other undesirables out you're going to have to do a fair bit of lifting as well. This one was kind of a no-brainer. Think about it, how many fatties do you see in zombie films?
Rule 2: Wear Zombie Proof Clothing
Another no-brainer. The zombie virus is transmitted through bodily fluids such as saliva, blood, and all the other nasty ones quibblo doesn't want me to tell you about. Obviously, a zombie's favorite way if getting these into your bloodstream is by biting, so its important to do all you can to stop the undead sinking their teeth into your delicious fleshy-parts. Thick materials like leather and denim are very good so wear a leather jacket (with a collar) and jeans. It's also a good idea to wear leather gloves, just make sure they're not fingerless. Another good idea are military boots, they are durable, comfortable, and protect the ankles from being nibbled.
Rule 3: Don't Use Chainsaws
Forget everything zombie movies have taught you about chainsaws. They are actually one of the worst weapons to use against zombies. They can easily get snagged on a zombie's clothing, they are loud and will therefor attract more zombies, they are heavy and difficult to carry around and fight with, and most of all, once they run out of gas they're pretty much useless. You'd be much better of going with something like a katana or baseball bat.

But yes, it is good, add some more onto each subject, like the weps, nice description and grammar.
Haha fatties are 1st to go :P and for the weapon id have a gun like from call of duty xD tho i guess swords or katanas are better cause they dont need ammunition
Make sure you pick a gun that is reliable and common so that you can find ammunition for it easily. I recommend the AK-47 assault rifle or the M1911 hand gun.
hmmm i dnt speak weapon but ill try to remeber :P i like the word rifle so i'll stick to that :D

Ok, I have decided I am using a crowbar when they attack. Crowbars could do some damage. Also I now know what to where during a zombie apcocalypse(sp?) so thank you. Also just for good measure..... MONKEYS!
Good idea :D a high quality crowbar is not just a good weapon but also a very useful tool for opening doors and things like that.
i'll definitley have u as backup if we were ever invaded by Zombies Olly c(:

haha thanks for the link, actually my fifth rule (haven't written it in the story yet) is "beware of toilets" so that was quite interesting. Of course, people in the city wont have the opportunity to do their business in the woods or a field so they'll have to do it in a public toilet. At least they wont have to bother about remembering to flush.
