Hermione remembered the feeling after the war was over after Harry had succeeded. She felt...happy. Hermione also felt sad. She looked around for Ron; they had to talk about that kiss. Well maybe if they had time to talk. She started jogging to look for him. She saw Ginny hugging Harry like there was not tomorrow. Hermione really hoped they made it all the way. She walked past the rubble and a sobbing Mrs. Weasley. Oh how things would change. In a distance she saw Luna lovegood huddled my Neville and looking off in space. Did she even notice the mess? Maybe that was just her way of feeling with that kind of thing. Hermione took the time to flatten her hair, just a little. Of course nobody expected her to look like a royal princess. She was far from it! She saw Draco Malfoy and Blaise Zabini sitting on rocks.
"Granger, shouldn't you be celebrating?" called Blaise. She studied him, he was all seriousness.
"Shoudn't you, Zabini? I mean all of you can stop pretending! You can be who you wanted to be." she replied. Hermione was half expecting them to yell an insult at her.
"We would, but there's nowhere to go Hermione." said a musical voice. She looked up into the stormy beautiful eyes of Draco Malfoy. Shed never noticed how, how captivating they were.
