Like stray cats
Wounded, hungry, and scared
Finding each other
No rules or judgement
In a whole another world
Three becoming lost
In dreams and fantasies
Together like a pact
Love, friendship, and beyond
Smoking away the trouble
Drinking down the pain
Waking up in each other's arms
Sober and yet still in a dream
Suicidal three at a table
Killing the thoughts together
The three taking over the world
Racing down a hall hand to hand
Heart pounding through the night
Floating away in the sea
Leaving all behind
In love with each other's love
Living off that love to survive
Three in a bath, bed, and war
Not wanting but needing
As the night falls
Three fall into a slumber
Then awaken into another dream
Under a tent, skin to skin
With the night's stars still shining
Three heartbeats
Three souls
One whole made from three.
