My Language Arts Essay

i put this on here out of bordom. I had to right a fantasy story for L.A. class including the set up (like a feel of the character and setting plus the start of the plot) and a talking animal.

Chapter 1

Don't go into the forest

My legs kept striding stretched extended lengths as I awed the fascinating nature around me. Don’t go into the forest, Bizsu. Only bad things await in there, my mother’s words rang in my ear like poison. Regretfully, my curiosity got a influential hold of me, and now, I am trapped here with no clue of getting out. There was no farther worse matter in the world, I thought pessimistically. The sky conversed into a rainbow of purple, orange, and other nightfall colors. No other option was available other then to stop for the day; survival was needed until the sun came up.

Less then five yards from where my feet rested, a small hollow screamed for my attention. It was better the freezing wide open, so I crept in cautiously. The cave let out a dim light which would be gone in less then an hour. Somehow, the place seemed more cozy then I suspected. Stretching out, I tucked my arms under my head, and curled into a tiny ball. While I buried my head into the crane of my arms, my hand tugged onto a soft piece of fur- Wait! Not soon enough, I figured there was more then one creature calling that cave home tonight.

My feet sprang up, quickly. You might of supposed someone lit the place on fire. My eyes darted around searching for who or whatever else appeared to be here. My eyes fell on a beautiful ruby furred cat-like figure starring at me. It’s eyes, bright yellow eyes, gazed at me. It started to prance around me in circles making her black tipped tail swinging side to side. It studied me head to toe before I realized it was a girl. As she kept circling, my legs wobbled uncontrollably, and my skin-color faded a ghastly white. She eyed me down like pray, and she was the hunter. Yet, probably this was not far from the truth.

“Your name,” I thought I heard her command me. I touched my ears feeling for any eeriness. “No, you’re not insane.” She said this almost reading my thoughts. She stopped in front of me bowing her head. She kept nudging my leg, impatiently. My hand warily reached for her warm skin. I stroked her fur, and she looked back at me.

“B-Bizsu. I am no harm to you. I just need to find my way back home,” I said gaining more confidence with every word. “Do you have a name?” I asked, but she shook her head no. “I’ll call you…Char.” ‘Char’ looked up at me, and I saw her eyes beamed at the name. She lifted her left paw, and her claws dashed out sharper and longer before I could blink. All my tension and grief washed away with the openness of this stranger, Char.

“Could you help me get out of this forest?” I asked hopefully. For a second, a smile glistened on Char’s face. She laid stretched on the harsh floor of the hollow. I also sank down with my head on Char’s cozy fur.

“Friends,” Char apparently whispered making me shimmer with courage. While drifting into a dreamless sleep, one day has paced so far. I knew dangers faced ahead in this forest, but with Char by my side nothing could beat us. One day down…
