My Heart, My Soul, My Prankster (A Fred & George Weasley Love Story)

Hey the twins said together as they reached us. We were about to reply when they looked at each other suspiciously & nodded. I looked at Nynette quizzically & she returned my confused look. For the first time in a long time neither of us had any idea what the twins were up to, & that made us both nervous. What in the world could they be up to? I thought confused. Lessy, could I talk to you for a second over there? George asked me taking my hand & leading me away from Nynette & Fred. I gave her another questioning look very confused at this point & followed him. Whats up George? I asked him curiously. How would you like to sneak out with me tonight & take a trip to the Black Lake? he asked me his eyes growing suddenly excited. Oh George! That sounds wonderful! I agreed enthusiastically. I hadnt done anything just George & I in ages! It was always Fred, George, Nynette, & myself, The Four Musketeers as we affectionately referred to ourselves. Brilliant! he said with a smile, Meet me outside the Slytherin common room at 11 tonight. I returned his smile & nodded as we made our back to Nynette & Fred just as theyd finished talking. Nynette & Fred had the same excited grins George & I had on our faces. Nynette & I said goodnight to the twins & excitedly ran off towards the Slytherin common room rambling animatedly the whole way there. So, Fred asked me to sneak out with him tonight Nynette said to me in a surprisingly casual tone as we made our way inside the common room. Really? I asked imitating her casual manner, George asked me to go to the Black Lake with him. What do you think theyre up to? I asked her, butterflies Ive never felt at the thought of George before formed in my stomache as I anticipated going to the Black Lake with him tonight. She shrugged, she looked just as confused as I felt but I let the subject go as we both rushed up to our dorm. I walked over to my dresser & pulled my wand out casting a few simple spells to refix my hair, change my clothes, change my make up & pick out a pair of shoes. I traded in my normal heels in for one of the few pairs of non-heeled shoes I owned. It was of course her normal comfy clothes & flat shoes. I giggled slightly at how predictable her fashion had become. You really should consider wearing heels or something, Nynette. I said smiling at her. She stuck her tongue out at me, Just because Im short doesnt mean that Im going to wear heels all the time like some people. she replied teasingly. Oh shut it! I said playfully throwing a pillow at her, she dodged it stepping infront of the mirror to take in her appearance. I had to admit besides her odd fashion sense she was quite beautiful. I checked the time, it was 10:50, Nynette & I ran out of our dorm & down towards the common room, barely avoiding a confrontation with Draco & Blaise. They might have succeeded but they were no match for Nynettes wonderfully powerful Jelly-Legs Jinx. We laughed a little & rushed out of the common room. Fred & George were waiting just outside the common room looking quite uncomfortable being so close to Slytherin ground. They instantly grew eager as they saw us approaching. Hey Nynette & I said together. *Hey the twins replied. Lets go I said quickly ushering George away from Nynette & Fred. You kids behave now Nynette said in her best fake parental voice. I stuck my tongue out at her & George & I made our way around the corner leaving Fred & Nynette alone in the Corridor. Cmon Georgie! I said taking his hand & dragging him outside the castle, those same butterflies from earlier returning as I looked at our hands. What is up with me today? I thought as the Black Lake finally came into view. Ill race you I said playfully running away from George towards the Black Lake. I looked back to see him chasing after me, a strange twinkle in his eye sending another wave of butterflies through me. I turned back around & raced even faster towards the lake. I was almost there when I felt a pair of warm, strong arms wrap around my waist. I squealed as George picked me up & spun me around laughing playfully before he finally set me on my feet. I turned around to face him & was surprised at how close we actually were. His face was only inches from mine as I looked up at him finding myself getting lost in is milky brown eyes. I was about to say something but could think of nothing but how close he was, electricity running through my veins as I continued to lose myself in the appreciative look he was now giving me. Oh! How I wanted to lean in & press my lips to his! What am I thinking?! I thought confused as I forced myself to look away awkwardly taking a step away from him. He looked a little disappointed but took me by the hand & led me the rest of the way to the lake. We made our way onto the dock & sat down in the middle looking up at the stars. I proceeded to lay down & George did the same. We looked at each other & smiled, the previous awkwardness disappearing. We talked & joked & laughed just like we always used to, it was wonderful. At some point I ended up with my head on Georges chest as we looked at constellations & made funny shapes in the clouds. After awhile we laid there enjoying each others company, I really were truly comfortable with George, despite my unusual feelings Id recently developed towards him. I began to nod off against his chest & he decided it was time to head back to the castle. It had gotten chilly & I shivered. George laughed & put his arm around me pulling me close to him. I sighed relaxing against him, he was so warm! I think Im falling for him I thought surprised, there was no other answer for how I was feeling towards him, Oh my goodness! I AM falling for him I realized as we entered the castle & made our way towards the Slytherin common room. We stopped just outside the door, Goodnight Georgie I said smiling at him, I had a wonderful time. George pulled me into a tight yet delightful hug, Me too he said happily, Goodnight Lessy, see you in the morning. George said as he reluctatntly released you & made his way back to the Gryffindor common room. I watched him disappear around the corner & then sprinted through the door & into the common room. I saw Nynette pacing around the room obviously waiting for me to return. I looked at the clock & realized how late it was, just after 3 in the morning. Shaking away this thought Nynette & I raced to meet each other, I have so much to tell you! we both practically yelled putting our hands on each others shoulders & looking at each other in excitement. I grabbed her hand & practically dragged her as we sprinted up the stairs to our dorm jumping on our beds.
