Gill or Luke?
This is a short story i wrote about Harvest Moon charactors Gill,Luke,and Akari.
I didn't look over it and edit it much so sorry for typo's and stuff.
"This is killing us! Who?!" They said in unison. There eyes big and expectent,staring strait at me. They stood there,in silence,waiting. Waiting for my answer. Which one? Who will I chose? Gill or Luke.There was a slight rain,the harsh winds making it worse. The wind was buffeting through the air,almost knocking Lukes bandana off his head,reavealing his long spikey blue hair. Gills hair was tangled every wich-way. The one strand of hair sticking up swayed heavily with the wind.The moonlight turning his blonde hair white. Lukes cat-like orange eyes wide,Gills icey blue eyes almost teary. It was almost 12:00,and if I didn't decide soon,they would both vanish.
My heart was beating so fast and hard that i though all of Waffle Town could hear it. My eyes watered,not just from the strong wind. I opened my mouth to speak,but I could't get out the words.
"Akari!" Gill said my name,trying to focus me on the question.
I never thought I would have to do this. It's like chosing which of my parents would I keep. Who would live,and who would die? It's not about happiness of the one who lived..it's about the saddness the other will suffer. My eyes darted from Gill to Luke and then to the ground.
"I..I.. choose.." DONG DONG DONG I lifted my head at the noisey bangs. It was the clock tower. oh no! I thought It can't be 12:00 already! I looked back over to the boys. They both stood there,side by side,vanishing into nothing. Their expressions were sad,and they hung their heads. The rain and wind got worse and worse. My face was wet with a mixture of rain and tears,and as they faded into nothingness,so did everything around me. Once they were gone completeley,there was onley a sudden darkness,the sound of the bells and the storm vanished with everything else. I had nothing.Just an eternal emptiness. I heared the bells again. whats going on?
My eyes shot open and I looked around my room. I was confused at first. I gathered my senses and relized i was home,laying in bed. My alarm clock was going off,but i payed it no attention. I was breathing deeply. None of that was real.It was just a dream..it wasn't real.
And then I noticed something that was real. My face was soaked with tears. As much as I tried to reassure myself I knew that that dream ment something. It ment I had to choose who I would be with,or before I knew it,that option would be gone altogether,and I wouldn't have Luke or Gill,only emptiness. The feel of nothingness still hung in my body from the way-to vivid dream. I must make my choice..who will live..and who will die..
