I woke up early I was so excited it was the last day of summer. I quickly got up and ran into my brothers (Seamus finnagan) room I jumped on his bed and shouted "Wake up its the last day of summer" I laughed to myself as he jumped "Ohhh go away im too tired" He moaned I sighed and ran down the stairs two at a time. My mum looked at me in surprise "And why are we up so early?" She asked. I just smiled as my dad walked through the door. My brother came down the stairs rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "You better hurry up and dress honey, the Diggorys and weasleys will be here soon" My dad said to me as I quickly sat down to eat. I quickly finished my pancakes and kissed my mum on the cheek. I ran up the stairs again and into the bathroom. I had a nice shower and washed my hair. I went into my bedroom and opened my wardrobe doors. I stood there admiring my collection of clothes trying to figure out what to wear. Then I heard people downstairs Seamus slowly took his time coming up the stairs with what sounded like Harry and Ron. I was still looking at the content of my wardrobe when there was a light knock on the door. "Come in" I shouted softly. Hermione and Ginny entered the room. "Still not dressed" Hermione commented. "Help I don't know what to wear" I smiled lightly. "Its warm out" Ginny replied. I looked at the outfits that they were both wearing shorts and a vest top. I might as well go for the same I thought. I pulled my blue shorts out of the drawer and my white vest top. "Wont be a minute" I said as I headed for the door and into the bathroom. When I came back they smiled at me and we started to chat about the summer as I put on my make up and tied up my hair. Seamus was shouting up the stairs at me "Hurry up sis we haven't got all day we want to be back before Christmas" They girls giggled and we made our way down the stairs. I saw Fred and George first they were smiling at each other as we entered the room. "Ohhh hello trouble" They both said in unison. My dad just laughed and then looked at his watch. "Where are they" He said looking up at the clock on the wall. Just then the Diggorys entered. Cedric smiled up at me straight away as his dad mine and Arthur weasly started to chat amongst themselves. Cedric made his way over to me first "Hello" He said as he flashed a grin at me showing some of his sparkling teeth. He had caught me by surprise and I was dazed for a moment. I had always liked Cedric but had never ever told him because I was too scared that he might feel the same way and I wouldn't wan to ruin the friendship we have. As I got back from my thought I smiled back at him and simply said "Hello" Back. Just then our dads said "All right you lot lets get going." We all walked out of the house and into the field at the end of our garden. There was a port key we all held on and before we knew it we were in diagon alley. Our parents handed us our money and lists and off we split into little groups. I was with Cedric, Fred and George. We got all of the things we needed and headed to Fred and Georges favourite shop the joke shop. We all went in and looked around the stuff in the shop didn't interest me or Cedric so when Fred and George were busy looking at Puke pastels and love potions we sneaked off around the corner
