Times Up!! A Draco Malfoy love story part 2

Ginnys POV:
I like Dumbledore, but i really do hate those talks he gives. But finally dinner is here.
"Soooo..........."
"Shut up Caroline." I said to my best friend Caroline who is a Gryfindor, as well as me. Both her parents are purebloods and they were in Sllytherin, and when they found out she became a Gryfindor they disowned her,so she was living with Hermione which hasnt always been the greatest for her. She didn't tell her parents she was a gryfindor until the end of her 1st year.
"Well sorry, but come on, you almost got Potter. In the our 1st year he almost got expelled. But YOU got 6 detentions before schools started. Record." Caro said face shining. I laughed thinking it was truth, but detentions with Malfoy..
"its funny, but that means 6 detentions with Malfoy." I groaned looking at my mashed potatoes, suddenly not hungry.
"Whatever he isHOT." says my other friend Whitney. Heer perfect blonde curly hair was out of her face while she was eating. I always wondered how she managed to eat with out smudging her lipstick. Whitney is a half-blood. Her mom works at a store called" M.A.C" idk what it is, but her father was a Gryfindor.
" Just picture him in his underwear, then it'll be fine." She looked at me with a striaght face. all three of us started to laugh out loud.
"Whats so funny?" Dean said. Ugh why is he so nosy????
"Nothing," I said wearily.
"Ok........" Dean said suspicously.
"Why are you with him," Says Whitney once Dean was talking to Seamus, "i mean no offense he isn't intresting." I opened my mouth offended but then Caorline spoke up.
"I think she means, she doesn't find him intersting, i mean come on, Whit needs a guy who can pick her up AND recite Shakesphere." Whitney glared at her.
"Okkk ik you guys hate Shakesphere but my mom loves him and i think he is an AMAZING writer." Me and Caro sniggered. Whitney frowned and i could tell she was about to pull the silent treatment
"Sorry Whit, but idk i guess when he asked me itwas kind of a surprise, and it was the end of 4th year, and now we are in OWLS season so i'm not sure i'm going to have time for him."
"Oh yeah i heard OWLS are really hard.......
Caroline and Whitney continued a discussion over OWLs while i gazed over the Great Hall. I waved at my friend Luna who was trying to talk to Change, which was funny!! Then i went over to the Hufflepuf table and saw Sam, my other friend who was talking to a group of his friends, and then landed on him...Malfoy.
He looked...dazed..very spacey. I wonder what he is thinking of...but then he looked at me and made a face. UGH Wow what a arse. I coulnd't believe i just thought of him attractive. But it's like Whitney always says, you can have a harmless crush on a hot jerk and not feel any guilt about it.
"YO!! We are leaving!!" Caroline says getting up.
"Wait--what??"
"Come on Dumbledore is done with his speech!!" Whiteney says rolling her eyes laughing. "I am the spacey one not you Ginny!"
I mustered up a chuckle and left with them, but had to break up our talk when Dean interupted saying he wanted to talk to me...omg.
"So i was thinking, we should go to the Fall Ball." Dean said. The Fall ball was for 5th years and up, and now i am aloud to do many things and go to things like dances because i am in my 5th year.
"Are you asking me or our you assuming i'll go with you?" I asked, annoyed.
"Um...what?" Dean said obv. confused.
"Whatever I got to go Dean, talk to me when you are sure." I left him and caught up with Whit and Caro.
"What was that about," Whitney said looking back at him.
"Haha nothing," I said, "He was "trying" to take me to the Fall Ball."
"Omg! I forgot, we can go this year!! I tote. need a date.. Hmm ok well their is John, Ernie, Mike, um, sam, Ron--"
"Uh what Whit??" I said stopping, " You are actually considering going with my social awkward Brother????"
"No!! Haha im kidding, " We laughed.
"What about you Caro?" I asked my BFF who looked quite.
"Oh idk, gotta go!!!" She left going up into our common room.
"Uh what was that about?" I asked Whit, and she looked nervous. What is going on with these two-- OH!
"Do you know something i don't?" I asked her.
"Listen Ginny, um look it's not my place to tell...so yeah. Good night!" I was left their standing totally confused.
