The Runaway Chronicles: The Powers revenge
This is for all the runaways. First off thank you to everyone who read our first to stories in the series.
Anyway my character is Cassandra better known as Cassie.I have black chin length cropped hair and piercing light blue eyes.I also has LIZ tattooed on her back.Oh and I'm dead.
My best friend is Carter.She has blonde and brown hair and hazel eyes.
Cassandra's P.O.V.
I wake up in Jesse's arms. You'd think you don't sleep when your dead but Jesse said in the Otherworld you sleep, eat, and drink like your alive.Only problem is your not.Jesse's been dead for a year now and me I've been dead for a couple months now.I've been checking in Carter, Sam and Ash everyday to make sure they aren't in danger.Sam looks the same as always with his tall buff body and fluffy light brown hair with chocolate eyes.
Ash on the other hand lost a lot of weight after I died and his violet eyes don't light up anymore.He let his black/purple hair grow so now it covers the eyes I loved to look at.Carter's been okay after a month when she found Chealse her new best friend.I look at how happy Carter is-more so now that Sam proposed-and how even Ash has gotten over me and is fine again.I realize that they don't need me anymore.
I will kill the Powers so Carter and them won't be in danger but I've resolved to stay here with Jesse.I look at him and see his black hair with blond streaks covering his closed eyes.I get up and dressed in a cute black dress and boots that basically materialized out of nowhere.I kiss Jesse softly and leave the hotel room to check in on the Powers.
I see them getting really closer to finding out where Carter,Ash and Sam are hiding.I sigh at the thought of leaving my happy afterlife to fight some evil bastards who killed me in the first place. But it's the least I can do.As I leave I suddenly see Ash sitting on his bed crying.
"Oh Ash.I miss you."I whisper not expecting him to hear but his head whips up and for the first time in months his eyes light up.
"Cassie! Please come back. We need you. Carter freaked when she realized you wouldn't be her maid of honor. Took Sam hours to get her to stop crying. She misses you. I miss you."He says looking right at me even though I know he can't see me.
"I can't Ash.Your going to miss me like I miss you but your better off without me there.I can kill the Powers and you guys will be safe but I won't come back.You don't need me.Carter sure doesn't. Bye Ash I'll miss you."I say and walk away with tears in my eyes.I go and wake up Jesse.His green eyes sparkle as he see's me."Hey we need to find the Powers.They're closing in on Carter.Well come on!" I say heading out the door.
He follows me as I make-yeah the Otherworld is soooo weird- a new Harley Davidson.Jesse chooses a mustang.He rides beside me we race to the Powers place.I've never been there but Jesse says you can't miss it.I can't stop thinking about Ash.He told he wouldn't let me get hurt and here I was hurting him so badly.I look at Jesse and feel a pang of disappointment at the fact the he doesn't have soulful violet eyes.
I shake off the thought.I love Jesse.I did ever since he saved me from my parents.I smile at him and speed ahead.It's going to be a long ride until we reach them.But then they'll know why they shouldn't have messed with me and Carter.
