A Poem For MJ

~~~Like A Best Friend, I Never Knew!~~~
Every time I watch you or hear your voice
You never fail to amaze me and fill me with joy
You taught me to believe that anything can happen
As long as there’s love and a lot of passion
Whenever something happens to make me feel blue
I know your music can always put me in a good mood
Your fast songs always have such a great beat
And when I hear them I just can't control my feet
Your slow songs are emotional but in a good way
And even though they can be sad they still manage to brighten my day.
I love everything that you do
And I hope to someday be able to achieve all of that too
Although some days I feel I can't and put myself down
And it makes it harder to know you’re not around
But once I hear you sing and look at your poster on my wall,
I know you're still with me no matter what
Although you’re not here anymore, your music lives on
And so does your spirit through everyone
To me, you’ll always be there to encourage me
To care and love and just be who I want to be
No matter what, I’ve always had you to look up to
And for that I really thank you.
Forget the haters that are just trying to be mean
Because the extraordinary man that you are is what they clearly can’t see.
Michael, You’re the reason I know to never give up hope
And that it's up to me how my life goes
You’ve always been there for me
And you always will be
You’re the main reason I am who I am now
I'll never forget you
And for everything you’ve done for me, I'll love you more than words can say
Even though I never knew you, it felt like I had my whole life
You felt like a best friend to me
