My Poetry
I was speaking to a new friend on here who told me they'd like to see some of my poetry. Since it's not getting published any time soon, here it is.
I got the title from Avenged Sevenfold's song, Lips of Deceit. I hope you like it.
Your smile is real
Your words are faked.
You tell me I'm perfect
While filled with hate.
I know how you feel
I hate this pretending.
But beneath all that pain,
My heart is descending.
You brought me up
You brought me back down.
My heart, mind and soul
Are no longer 'found'.
