I am crushing on a boy who hardly knows who I am! HELP!!!!

Alright, first you'll need to know:
i USED to have a boyfriend, i loved him, but then he became a giant perv so i had to dump him. (i'm young and he was asking me to do something illegal!!!!) so, duh, it's clear he didn't really love me. But now, i don't give a rat's a/s/s about him. There's another boy!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay. So I've known him for a while. We were pretty good friends when we were younger, but now, eighth grade (i'm not really 15 even though it says so on my profile.... mistake. oops.) things have changed. He's into jazz, which i actually really like when it's cold and rainy, he's really good at drawing (which is a HUGE compliment coming from me, not to sound like a snob or NEthing...) and he is so devoted to helping the environment and endangered animals. I know for a fact he really likes tigers. (I love tigers!!) Everyone else thinks he's kinda nerdy, but i don;'t care what they say!! He started a jazz band at school-- so cute! and he really is good-looking, in my opinion at least. i haven't told my BFFs yet. One is a girl and one is a boy.
The boy I am crushing on is Josh. I've seen him look at me (probably cause i am.... er..... FREQUENTLY looking at him.) but i'll admit this: I'm pretty shy when it comes to boys. I want to wait a while and then tell him, but..... will that even work?? WHAT SHOULD I DO?????????

Well, you should become his friend again and then ask if he likes you or tell him he likes you. Or if your that shy or like me and want the guy to do all the work, ask your friend to ask and try to 'set you up' as in pretend neither of you is interested but your friends are trying to get you together :) hope it helps and remember 'in the worth of a lifetime, what does it matter?' as in in the course of your life, who cares if he says no?
Like anna said gradually get him back into your life then pop the question to him
