Someone In The Dark: A Michael Jackson Love Story

"Hello Mr. Jackson" I said shaking his hand.
"Hello" he replied.
"Okay, what's the case?" I asked.
"Gavin Arvizo is charging my brother for molestation" Jackie said angrily.
"Okay, and exactly how did this happen?" I asked looking at Michael.
"Well, Gavin's mom said she needed money and I told her no" He said sadly.
"Our first court appearance is tomorrow, it's gonna be okay" I said reassuringly.
"I hope so" he sighed.
"Are you sure you can prove my brother innocent?" Latoya asked worriedly.
"Yes, I beat Tom Sneddon at his own case" I said proudly.
"Tom Sneddon? The jerk that ordered my brother's strip search in '93?" Randy said stunned.
"I'm pretty sure I can" I said putting my notebook down.
"Well see you tomorrow Mr. Jackson" I said walking out the door.

The Next Day:
I walked out of my door and went into my car.
"It's day 1 of the trial" I said to myself.
I turned on my radio and heard Billie Jean playing. I turned it up and began dancing. By the time the song was over, I was at the Santa Monica court house.
I quickly got out of the car and met with Michael.
"My ex wife Debbie wants the kids!" he said as we walked into the courtroom and sat down.
"What?! I'm not gonna let her take them" I said sternly.
"Okay" he said quietly.
Debbie, Tom Sneddon, and some other defense lawyers walked in.
Debbie gave me a sly look. I rolled my eyes and turned around.
The judge walked in.
"Mr. Jackson, Miss Lopez" he said as we stood up.
"Here your honor" I said for the both of us and we sat back down.
"Ms. Rowe, Mr. Sneddon" he asked looking over at defense.
"Here sir" Tom said glaring at me.
"Who'll be opening the case with their statement?" The judge asked.
"Me!" Tom and I said in unison.
"Miss Lopez, you may start" the judge said motioning me to come up.
I got up and looked back at Michael before starting.
"My client, Michael Joseph Jackson is here to prove his innocence against Gavin Arvizo and his family." I said looking at them.
"Any witnesses?" he asked.
"Yes, Gavin Arvizo" I said pointing to him.
He got and sat on the stand.
"Mr. Arvizo, you claim that Mr. Jackson molested you? Is this correct?" I asked interrogating him.
"Um, Um, yes" he said nervously.
"That's all" I said sitting down.
I looked at Michael and he smiled...
