So I wanted to try writing a story to see if you all liked it or not.
Chapter 1
A Cold Night
"It’s so cold out here." I said in-between shivers
"Yeah I know." My friend drew said while watching the cars go pasted us.
I moved towards him and put my head on his neck. "Wow, you feel so warm!" I stated as I felt the heat coming from his body.
"Don’t do that get off me." drew said as simple as if telling me his favorite color
"Why?" I asked like an idiot as I stepped away from him
"Because my family will yell at me and tell me not to do stuff like that out in public." again his voice unchanged
"Oh ok well you could just tell them that I was freezing my butt off." I said jokingly trying to hide the hurt in my voice
"No they wouldn't understand, oh here they are." I watched as a car pulled up to the sidewalk "Cya Jackie."
"Bye" I said back
After their car was out of sight I sat on the stairs of the school bathed in a pool of light from the lamp above my head. I couldn't believe it, what had just happened. Was this seriously the same guy that I have been friends with for over a year, the same one who had always joked with me, and who I may have fallen head over heels for? He had even once gone up to me from behind and hugged me. He had once hugged me around the waist and made sure my arms went around his neck. Surprisingly he has even kissed me on the cheek before and this was in-front of his older brother too. If he could do that why wouldn't he keep me warm now? Before an answer could be found, my dad had pulled up along the curb to pick me up. Still letting the questions and memories float thru my head as I watched out the window, my dad turned down a road that went away from our house.
"Where are we going?" I asked in half a daze
"To get some gas I’m almost out and I’m going to be doing a lot of running around tomorrow. Is that ok?" he asked with a hint of worry in his voice
"Yeah, fine." I said
Really it wasn't fine since the only way to get to the gas station was to pass drew's house. And sure enough we did and I saw him bringing in his stuff from the car. It almost pained me to see him. Luckily we passed without him seeing us. I still wasn't sure what to think about him, but that could always wait.
