What should i do?

My friend is really depressed and sad. Her family is breaking apart. She started cutting herself. She texted me, "I'm running out of options." She normally is a very happy, optimistic (sp) person but she was all sad and didn't talk much.

I told her that I and other friends (will remain nameless) were there for her. One of them told a counsiler but it doesnt seem to be doing anything.

I'm scared. We are really tight. I don't know what I'll do if she commits suicide.

i no wht i would do i would probably tell her parents. say tht the way they're acting is tearing their daughter apart and tht if they keep it up tht she might commit suicide

I will palray for her. Tell the school guidance counselur and just try your bet to not leave her side ans cheer her up. I'm praying for all of you

Convince her that scuicide is not the answer. My cousin's freind was going to commit scuicide, and she told her to wait 2 years and then she would let her do it. In 2 years, she asked her if she still wanted death, and she said no. I feel so bad for your freind. She will be in my prayers.

Try to put her mind of it, talk about other, happy stuff or go out. Sometimes things like that just need time to get over (dk if this is the case, sounds pretty bad). If it doesn’t help maybe you need to tell her parent's. Keep up with her in case she does want to commit suicide. If you are religious and believe in god pray for her, it helps me.
