Chapter 1
Changed (Part 1)
In the midst of silence that's filling my room, I heard a very loud and intense growl from the forest, from someone I knew. I hurriedly ran to the woods like I recognized the way that I'm headed for. There, I saw Edward with his fierce black eyes and biting the neck of a reddish-brown werewolf, Jacob...
"Edward, no!" Jacob is now on his human form, and I could see that his right arm and neck is bleeding. I'm frightened of what is happening and on Edward's outlook as I glanced at him. "What did you do to him?" Anger filled my mind and heart, it's the first time that I get really mad at him, and he just crossed the line.
"I'm sorry Bella. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Jacob was thinking of you, the way I didn't like, he's shouting his thoughts at me. I'm so close at him, and then I lost my patience. I shouldn't have done this. I..." He didn't have the chance to finish on what he had to say. He quickly disappeared in the forest, leaving the two of us behind. I went to see Jacob's condition when the werewolves came and they're after Edward. Embry and Quil helped in bringing Jacob to Billy's house and they called Carlisle.
"Where's Edward? Is he alright? "I asked him as he got out of Jacob's room. He looked disappointed on what happen to Edward.
"I don't know Bella. He didn't come home to us and Alice had a vision of him somewhere in the northeast of Canada. We are still tracking him down." I felt guilt all over me because it’s my entire fault that they had to fight and be killed. I'm such a fool to believe that Jacob will accept my choice easily and move on with his life. I know that it will all come to this, where someone I love will be hurt...
"What about Jacob? Is he gonna be okay?"
"Of course, he heals fast as I expected and the morphine I gave him burns faster than I thought. Well, he's looking for you."
I slowly open the door and saw him in his worst. It's like the last time when he was injured by a newborn vampire and it is all because of me too... He tried to sit normally but every time he attempts to do it, his wounds cut open.
