How Will I Ever Get Out of This Labyrinth?
Just a little thought I was having.
How will I ever get out of this Labyrinth?
The famous last words of Simon Bolivar, as quoted by Gabriell Garcia Marquez in his book "The General in His Labyrinth"
I, however, got this quote of a quote from John Green's book "Looking for Alaska."
Do any of you wonder how you will get out of the labyrinth? The labyrinth of suffering, pain, injustice? Don't listen to the people who think they know what the meaning of life is. We live, and we die. It's over. Done, when we die. So does that mean, since everything is supposively over, that when we die, we leave the labyrinth of suffering? Does the labyrinth even exist? Not for some people. Some never enter the hard life that comes with pain and suffering, they never enter the labyrinth because they don't know what it is or if it even exists; they're lucky. Some are too weak or scared to fight through it once they get lost in it; they stay there forever (until they die?). Some go through it because they want the challenge; they want to fight; they want to get through it and get it over with. But back to my question: Is dying the only way to be released?
Guess we'll find out, yeah?

I love this book. I think it's one of the best books i've ever read. The labyrinth puts twists and turns in to distract you from the truth. I don't know what the truth is may it be love, friendship, family, or even death. But we have to figure that out.
Well said. I completely agree (about both the Truth and it being one of the best books). I just randomly had this thought pop into my head, and figured it'd be nice to write out. :)
