Chariot For Charity is a division of Imperial Auto Services. Our headquarters is located at 602 East Chatham Street, Cary, NC, 27511. We are a full-service auto repair shop, towing company, and auto sales and recycling company.
We have teamed up with Pretty In Pink Foundation to put our knowledge, resources, and experience to good use to help those in need in our community and elsewhere.
Chariot For Charity works hard to maximize the tax deduction amount for you and the amount that in turn goes to Pretty In Pink Foundation for Breast Cancer. Even if your car is not running, is wrecked, has no keys or title, we can turn your vehicle into cash for Charity. If your car is a well-running vehicle, we can work with our retail dealer network to maximize the sale price, thus maximizing the benefit to you and the charity. Again your vehicle will be towed at no cost to you.
Upon receipt of your vehicle we will classify it in one of 3 categories:
Vehicles that are deemed junk vehicles are recycled in a very green and environmentally sound way. The parts, metals, and other material including the fluids are recycled and reused and don't end up in a landfill.
Vehicles that are deemed repairable are repaired and resold thus maximizing your tax deduction.
Vehicles that are determined to be in good working condition are detailed and are usually sold through our retail dealer network.
Since the sale price of your vehicle is what determines the tax deduction, the more the vehicle is sold for, the more potential tax deduction for you, and the more money that will go to Pretty in Pink Foundation.
This is why we, unlike most car donation programs, will spend the extra work to make it a win-win situation for everyone. We are the only car donation program that we know of that owns and maintains its own tow trucks and storage lots, thus saving sometimes up to hundreds of dollars on certain vehicles. All this just means more money available to go to Charity.
